This chair installs into a stud if you have drywall. Which was fairly easy, this chair is comfortable and stretchy and it holds up to 200 lbs. I love this hammock it is perfect for bedrooms it adds style and is a nice relaxing seat. Also you have to purchase a part for hanging from home depot or wal-mart. Simple assembly and very fun. I have had swings before like this one and this one just does not stand up to my expectations. It is not long enough so when you hang it, it is too short to get into easily. But when you do get in it the part of the swing that is under your legs hurts, it is too tight to hang right, and then the ropes on the side that hold the swing have already started falling apart. Do not buy this product. It is not worth it. I would like to get my money back.

The quality on this rope swing was pretty poor. I have another rope swing and this one was no where near the same level of quality. OK... different maker, different swing... but there were some things about this swing that I did not like. The rope ends only had a little bit of scotch tape around... that will last about 2 weeks... and then you have all the ropes coming unraveled. Swing was kind of small, in general, and I can tell it is not for men over 175 lbs. I miss that by about 30 lbs... but I am working on that. :) Decent swing for the low price... but I think it would be better to increase the amount willing to spend to get a little higher quality rope swing.

I like it, it is sturdy, but I didn't give 5 stars because it is a bit uncomfortable if you sit in it too long. I've sat in others that were way more comfortable. The difference with this one, is that it doesn't have enough netting.

Bought this for my 16 year old daughter for her bedroom and I think that is correct target demographic. I was very happy with it and so was she. I have read several of the reviews and here is what I think:- This thing is pretty darn inexpensive now so you really can not go wrong.- I don't think this will have any problem holding a child/teen (<150 lbs). Yes, it is rated to like 200 lbs, but am I going to sit in it? No way.- Fine for indoors and looks good, but would I put it outside? No way.- Comes with no mounting hardware, but that really does not matter. You can buy appropriate hardware at Home Depot, Lowes, or anywhere else or just check your tool box. If you have to ask how to hang this thing, then you should probably not be ordering it.It is what it is - a simple inexpensive chair that hangs from an inside ceiling for a younger person. If that is what you want, you will be satisified.

Waste of money! I hung the hammock in my backyard tree and after 2 days of using it the ropes snapped and it broke, with me in it! I am less than 150 pounds so it should've held my weight. I would not recommend this hammock to anyone. If you are looking to purchase a hammock for leisure, spend the money to buy a quality one that will last.

I took a gamble with this hammock chair since it was so cheap, but I should've known better. The weave is way too holy and it isn't comfortable at all. I've been in hammock chairs before that are so large and comfy that I can stretch my feet all the way out in it. This isn't one of those. I wish I had returned it before the window was up. I am going to order a more expensive chair and toss this one I guess.
