MK Hole Repair Kit Buff

The kit came quickly. It was easy to use with good directions. Would definitely recommend the kit if you need to fill a hole or a crack in your marble surface.

The Good: They provide all the tools, sticks, picks, cups and razor blades you'll need.The Bad: They may not provide the color you need. Had to order separate color kit not available on AMZN. Still hard to match my color. Not great for big patches. Some shrinkage did occur. Some batches got lumpy - may be a skill thing? There was no pattern to it - same colors and hardener proportion and yet it got lumpy or didn't.My skills got better over time but you can see it doesn't quite blend in to my Jerusalem stone. If you have some artistry you may be able to apply some of the color directly while it is curing - I did that in one of the pics above (4th from last). Don't be too impressed - it actually looks better on camera than IRL.

My house has marble bathrooms, tile throughout and over 10 years I noticed one or two small hairline cracks and had to fix pencil size holes from3 time to time. I usually take grout, add a tint, then seal it ! This usually doesn’t last for mor than 2 years and have to do it again. Ordered this kit and off the bat I knew it was my solution. Kit isn’t some 2 ounce use it once make a mistake and your done. Comes with pint of material and all the hardener, tints, blades and sticks you need to make numerous repairs over and over again like if you were doing tile professionally. If your old enough to remember, it works much like bonds for cars. One part product, to a spec of hardener 30/1 ratio, but make sure you add or don’t add tint first to your desired color that matches. Now after you mix it you have about 2 minutes to fill in hole, crack, where I just over filled hole and crack, then simply went over with straight edge razor. That’s it! If you run out of time throw stuff away, do agai! Second time around you get better! No worries, the kit has tons of sticks, blades, cups, to allow this process! Great product! It’s epoxy so open window! Epoxy is the real deal and I know it will last!

I have mixed feelings about the product. First of all, I emailed the company to ask a few questions, they never responded back. I had linear (most probably uneven sub-floor) cracks on my marble floor tiles. The set is smartly organized. There are plenty of sticks, cups, razors, steel wool, all labeled well, there is even a can opener.When I applied this mixture to my cracks, they did not go through and cover anything at all because they were narrow. I asked advice from the company, never got a response so I decided to work with Dremel on the cracks to make them wider on the surface for the putty to penetrate. After then, I applied the putty (you need to be quick) and wiped it of with the razors provided. The cracks are partially covered but they are still highly noticeable (ok, it is not fair to expect full recovery).

Product did the job. Only complaint is that it’s overpriced in my opinion. But paying a professional to fix the chips and holes would be a lot more expensive.Recommend that you try different tints to get the best match before mixing in any hardener. Be careful with the tints, it only takes a tiny dab to change the color of a tablespoon size of the filler.

This product is user friendly! I had a few spots that needed repaired on my marble floor and i had been holding off to fix it because I was unsure if the color would match and if I could actually do it myself. It matched perfectly and the direction are very easy to understand. I highly recommend this repair kit!!!! I am a very happy customer!!!!

I used this product to repair a crack appearing in my sink. The repair is a bit rough, even though I expressly followed the instructions, but you cannot see it and I feel it will prolong the stone sink life. One year later.........the repair has gotten a bit cleaner, much less roughness, but you cannot see it at all. I think it has saved me from buying another stone sink. It looks like it will last forever. Hope it does, if not, I will use this patch again.

The kit arrived on time with all the necessary products to complete the repair. I mixed together the products and followed the instructions...could be a little tighter on ratios to achieve hardening. The color of my travertine was easy to match...but must not have put in the correct ratio for the hole...about the size of a dime. It took several days for it to fully harden. Would recommend the product especially for travertine floors.
