we played this at the beach and loved it - it was a little tricky at first to master the rules, but once we did, we had hours of fun. the set is durable and has a nice bag that keeps everything together. I also appreciated that there was a tape measure included with the kit so that the field would be properly sized. This was a fantastic purchase!

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve played this game before and was anxious to get one of my own! Delivery took only 2 days.I’m pleased with the storage bag it came in—the fabric is thick and it seems it will hold up well. It also had two carry handles. I should’ve taken a picture of how the game was packaged in the storage bag! Haha. When we were finished playing it took us a few tries to get it all packed up neatly again, but now we know how! Oh and it started raining after we started playing, so it was a good thing the instructions were laminated because they got wet with no damage done.The actual Kubb game is so so much fun! My husband was a little skeptical because he doesn’t love outdoor games, but this one became addicting! If you are unfamiliar with it, it is an”Viking chess” yard game. You can play by yourself, but it is more fun with two or more players. Our younger boys can play it with us and are as competitive as the adults. It’s a great game for all ages.We played on our lawn, so I can’t say how it is on sand or dirt, but we do have an empty lot next door we might try it out on. I’m sure it would affect the bounce of the wood a little so it might take a little getting used to.All-in-all, it’s an entertaining outdoor game. I can’t wait to throw a party!

My in-laws are not really game players, so it's a constant struggle to convince them to join me in anything more than a quiet chat at the dinner table. But THIS one....my father-in-law has asked to play TWICE, and it has been a blast each time.The set itself is well-made, good weight/dimensions, and fits beautifully into the carry bag. As best I can tell, it's not QUITE regulation size. But, let's be honest - who in my family was going to compete in a Kubb competition any time soon? For what it is - a wooden game for the outdoors - it is PERFECT. The laminated instructions and measuring tape also were a huge bonus to help refresh our memory of gameplay and for explaining to newcomers.I greatly enjoy this product.

I really love this game, and this is a well-made version with the added bonus of a carrying bag to keep it all together. I really appreciate the laminated instruction sheet that comes with the game as well because it won't be easy to lose and it'll hold up in all kinds of situations. We've played in our front yard and we can't wait to play on the beach. My only recommendation to the individual who designed this would be to include string that is pre-cut to the dimensions of the "pitch." That way, it makes it even easier to set up.

I bought this set after reading the reviews that it was manufactured in the USA. I was disappointed when I received my set with the tag that stated it was made in China. Otherwise, this is a nice set.

This game was a hit for the family on the first play. I bought this so my wife and I can play something at teh park instead of watching the kids play themselves. However our 3 little younglings came and wanted to play with us. It works well for 5 years olds to adults. We let our 5 year old helicopter as it made it easier for her. Definitely get looks from strangers wondering what this game is. This is by far my favorite lawn game.I did end up staining all the blocks as they were too bright for me.However, we played 1 game and one kubb block was chipped 1/4 of the way down from the corner. Hopefully still playable without replacing that kubb. And a ton of dings in the other kubbs. However, a lot of other sets people say the same thing of various types of wood. So i guess breaking the pieces are inevitable at some point when you are just throwing sticks at sticks. I might buy a second set at some point if it gets damaged enough.

This is a great game! Made well, great carrying case, has everything you need.I did contact customer service for a small issue... they were easy to get hold of and took care of the problem!

The pieces in this Kubb game are really fantastic. Nice weight and great quality! I love the little extras like the stakes to mark the edges of the game court and the included a tape measure to make sure the dimensions are accurate. Great game.
