If you read the reviews for other colors you'll see complaints about a big sticker that leaves adhesive on the front when you try to peel it off, as well as other complaints about a scratched, nicked surface upon arrival. I'm not sure if these people ever figured out that the manufacturer covers both the front and back of the visor with a green contact film, edge to edge, and you must peel this film off both front and back of the tinted visor before use. The stickers are on the film, not the visor. The film protects the visor so it's scratch-free once you peel off the film. I'm not sure whether I love this visor more because it looks like something out of a Daft Punk video or because it protects the melasma on my face from getting darker in the sun. I avoided the sun so much this year that I ended up with a bad vitamin D deficiency. It's great to be able to get some sun now without discoloring my face. I only wear it sitting outside on my own property, where no one sees me. Haven't been brave enough to wear it in public, but when I do, I'll wear platform shoes with it.

I do a lot of yard work, especially in an area that gets sun for most of the day. If I'm working throughout the day, I don't want to have to slather sun screen on my face every time, so I thought about this as an alternative.The headband fits my small head quite nicely, and the shield provides adequate coverage for my face. It's dark enough so that I don't have to wear sunglasses, and that's a bonus.The only negative I have is the price. I think it cost much more than it's worth, but I chose to buy it, and I'm just going to have to take very good care of it so that it'll last a long time.Overall, I think I'm going to be very happy with this, and will get quite a bit of wear out of it.

The SOVIS is hands down, the better option.The sun visor 7" is extremely tight on my average sized head, one of the ends of the band was curved sharply inward, and most annoyingly, the mechanism by which the visor moves has broken so the visor just flops about.The allegra K was sent in a mailer, not a box, and arrived broken in half at the band.SOVIS is the way to go!

Excellent product! I had a C02 laser facial several years ago and to protect my investment, I never tan my face; just use bronzer. I have tried putting towels over my face when laying on my back, which is hard to breathe through and if I'm on a float in the pool, the towel gets soaked. This product does look a little funky but it is amazing. It completely blocks the sun. When I lie on my stomach with my head to the side, I just shift the visor "sideways" and it stays in place right where I put it, even covering my ears which I like to do. I am extremely pleased with the product.

I just got this "extended version" product and peeled both films from the visor and walked out side in the sun. The reflection of your surroundings and your clothes reflect UP right in your field of vision. The reflection inhibits your view. It's annoying. The reflection is better when one tilts the visor up, but the reflection is still there. Wearing the visor inside when it is dark, has a bit less reflection but still has the reflection problem. Of course, wearing it inside defeats the purpose! I also tried wearing a pair of sunglasses ALONG with the visor. Wearing both sunglasses and visor diminishes the reflection factor a bit. I would not recommend this visor to be used when driving.Why is this happening? If I return this defective product, will I get my full refund and shipping costs? Shipping was expensive.

I got these for the whole family .. I love that, unlike the majority of other face visors out there .. this one has validated UV protection .. they are also way cute!

Yes I might look like that crazy lady when I wear this but I tend to burn quickly and I want to keep my skin looking awesome for years and years to come! I wish I had gotten the one that is wider as I feel that at certain times of the day my jaws are exposed.

Fabulous product! It is such a relief to wear this in my car while driving! I highly recommend this product. I do wish there was one that was a little lighter to see through because I need it to work on my computer. I'm actually allergic to the light from my iPad & iMac! How's that! I have some sunglasses but this shield is fabulous for indoors too, if it were a little lighter black so I could see my TV & computers better.
