I have a doctorate degree so I am no dummy. Most thermometers I can figure out without reading the instructions. This one -- I had to look for the instructions. Good luck. The font must be 4 or 5. I found the following sections: Overview, Structure, Operating principle, Product intended use, Safety information, Principle, Product features, Technical parameters, Measuring Mode Setting, Calibration Mode Setting, and finally under Measuring Method (the last page) were the instructions for taking temperature at the temple. I took my temperature 3 times and each time, the measurement increased by .2 degrees F. I guess it is too much to expect consistent measurements.

Not accurate! Why can’t i find an accurate thermometer?!?! I thought I would buy an expensive one to make sure it worked but no! I know my baby has a fever and it keeps reading regular temp! I have tried resetting it, trying it on other people and using the head and ear settings. When you trust a product with helping you determine the seriousness of a illness with your child it’s so disappointing when it doesn’t work! I am now scared to death my baby has had a higher fever and I didn’t know because of this stupid thing!

Horrible product and customer service. The reviews were decent (now is horrible) when I purchased this product and it turned out to be really unreliable and inaccurate. It has 2 modes, forehead and ears, 95% of the time we would get about 10 degrees (F) difference. The rest of the time, it would say “er” which means error and it just doesn’t read. I contacted the company regarding such a big temp difference from the readings, I am not sure if they didn’t read my complaint or what, the response was irrelevant. Emailed them back to reinstate my concerns but never heard from them again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Very bad item extremely hard to use never recommend

Very bad accuracy. It changes very hard between measures being made in the same minute.

Inconsistent and inaccurate. With how often it is wrong you might as well just guess the temp.

Love the size and color.

This wasn’t even close to being accurate. One moment it’s 95.6, the next it’s 101.4. Seriously the biggest piece of garbage ever.
