I saw both English and the subtitled version. I thought there was more Scenes in the subtitles version. Will have to brow them again at a later time.Would still recommend this movie. Looking forwards to seeing the sequels when they are dubbed in EnglishExcellent effects. Fun to watch. Great actors. Comedy’s are my favourite

If you like Sci-fi movie, this one is so cute, full of action and funny. Kids are precious no matter how they look

6 year old son couldn't make it through this one, maybe better for older kids.

Um, Something's been lost in translation here. I originally watched the Mandarin/English Subtitled version of this on Netflix, and it was wonderful! Having now watched the English Language Version, I am sorely disappointed. The dub job is poor--and doesn't even follow the original English Subtitles. BUT, this isn't even the worst part...they CHOPPED IT UP! In what seems like a nonsensical hack-job, they've removed 12 minutes of the movie! The edits have made the story more difficult to follow, and have removed some of the more poignant moments of the film. The best I can figure, they've tried to make it into a "kid movie." Which it isn't. The original is only rated PG, and I would think it's suitable for anyone over 6, so the cuts still don't make any sense. Bottom Line: BUY THE MANDARIN LANGUAGE/ENGLISH SUBTITLED VERSION if you want the movie as it was intended to be enjoyed. This is NOT a kid's movie, it's a FAMILY movie--and it's delightful. If you're buying it for a 3 year old, who cannot read, and shouldn't be watching movies anyway, then maybe buy the vastly inferior dubbed version.
