Otterbox [Defender Series] Samsung Galaxy S5 Case - Retail Packaging Protective Case for Galaxy S5 - Neon Rose (Whisper White/Blaze Pink)Although I really like this case and its protection, I am quite disappointed that the pretty pink skin has turned denim blue. Please note that all my denim clothing is at least three years old and no longer fades onto anything. When I called Otterbox, they claimed that they had never heard of this problem. At least one other reviewer has had this issue too. There were no complaints about the other colors. Unfortunately, no other colors appealed to me and were at a price I could afford. Otterbox said they would gladly replace the skin for "free" but it would cost me 6.99 for shipping to get a replacement product. I don't like paying for a free item in order to fix someone else's defective product. The rest of the case is fine.

Primarily purchased as an alternative to LifeProof "Fre" case which is decidedly insufficient for my lifestyle. I was attracted to the notion of LifeProof being waterproof but after using the product I feel it is not sealed as well as claimed and my phone's screen still cracked after being dropped from about waist height. No response from LifeProof on any of 3 emails sent throughout the extent of my owning their product so I switched to the Otterbox.After researching this case and wireless charging products I took the plunge and bought the case, wireless charging receiver module and wireless charging pad. This case still permits wireless charging (look for 8mm tolerances in your wireless charging needs) and has protected the phone through drops, dust and dirt ever since. I have taken the phone on 200+ hiking trips and have had no problems.

I've had two of these cases in pink, and my husband has had one black. In all of them, the rubber outter shells seems to have stretched. It's no longer a snug fit after a few months and the side volume and power buttons become unusable. You can pull away the rubber and access the buttons, but it's inconvenient and probably just makes the stretching problem worse in the end.Still giving it four stars because it is a very sturdy, protective case. Our phones have been dropped and bumped around and still look brand new under the case. I'm pretty sure his may have even been run over by a car once and it still looks great and the case wasn't damaged.

I absolutely love this case.I've tried going the cheaper route getting the commuter case for my s3 and I drop it so frequently that it ended up cracking pretty badly. I've had this case on my so now for a while and as usual I've dropped it a few times and it works great and I'm confident my screen won't crack and it's safe when I drop it. I haven't had the issue with it getting too dirty like many have said, and I have the pink and white case. And not being able to see the "samsung" at the top like many others say really isn't an issue. You definitely can't see it but I don't understand why that's really an issue to begin with unless you need to convince people you have a Samsung phone all day. But I highly recommend this case especially if you drop your phone as frequently as I do.

The Otterbox Defender is the best cell phone cover/protector. It protects your phone from drops, I have never had a cracked screen. I remove (by pushing out) the clear screen protector (it is non-sticky, just a layer of clear plastic) because dirt/dust can get in there easily. The clear screen is also a pain to put on while putting the Otterbox on your phone, because your phone screen has to be totally clean before putting the screen on there, or bubbles will appear under the screen. I have bought 2 more Otterbox Defenders for my mother and wife, popped out the screen and they love the protection they get. LOVE THE OTTERBOX !!!

The only reason that I didn't give this a five star review is that the case gets dirty really easy and doesn't clean up well. I've tried a lot of different things to try to get it clean and it won't clean up it continues to look dingy. It no longer is the cheery bright pink but is now a dull pink with muted along the edges gray. Very disappointing. That being said the case has done a really good job of protecting my phone. It fits well and my 2 year old has dropped and thrown my phone several times and this case has protected it really well.

Pros: This case came in less than a week. It's nice and bright. Feels sturdy. Dropped my phone a few times to test it and it was pretty good (on carpet and on tiles). Almost everything lines up...Cons: fingerprint/heartbeat sensor is a no-go. Doesn't work with the case. In the picture I included, the screen protector doesn't match up with the home button perfectly...sort of annoying.Overall I would recommend it purely for the amount of protection you will get from it. Colour is nice and bright so I can easily spot it. The price was decent as well.

I have a Buick station wagon, and I drove square over my phone, backing out of the garage. The case was face down, and aside from some pitting on the edges of the hard plastic, that was mushed into the concrete, which is the white areas, and the tire track going across the entirety of the back of the case, there was no damage to my phone inside of it, and the tire track wiped off. Absolutely impressed to say the least. When the case got so dingy, I couldn't hardly tell it was bright pink, I went and bought another just like it. Go OTTER BOX.

I love it. I personally do not find it too bulky and I love that it is able to cover the headphone jack (I wish it covered the bottom port as well for double protection.It has a plastic film to protect the screen. I did not need it since I already had a tempered glass screen protector so I was able to take it off (with the help of a heat gun of course.This is a great buy (especially since I got it on sale!)

Shipping was super quick! It's here nearly a week before I was expecting it.The otterbox is awesome, my s5 fits super snug. The color is great, not too overpowering.Very glad I made this purchase!

S5 the last samsung phone on the market that gave me what I want: SD card and replacable battery. And I bought it when S7 was coming out so it was important to protect it well. I still have it and this case. It was fully protected with a screen cover and pink rubber covered strong plastic cover and provided attractive impact cushion. They jist don't make phone and cases like they used to. Nowadays otterbox just seems to make black bulky ugly cases.

If hot pink is what you want, then this is what you get. No problems or issues with the cover. Seems durable. Have had it for several months now and it's holding up and has saved my phone a few times.

The pink is hot as eff.Too bad this colour doesn't come for the Samsung S7 as I would hands down purchase it twice.Only side affect is that I work in a VERY dirty warehouse, and I wasn't expecting to have to wash my phone case very often...but alas there is no saving it now, the dirt is forever there even after soaking it for hours in a vinegar solution. And Bleach. I've tried everything lmao.Just wash it lots if you work in a dirty place, the colour is definitely worth keeping even when dirty though :)
