Bockingford is the BEST
I thought Arches was good but upon receiving Bockingford I have a new BEST. With Arches I have a hard time erasing the pencil and leaving no trace whereas with Arches there is rarely a shadow. Arches also has a more confined and machine look roughness whereas Bockingford is more a relaxed roughness and just doesn't look as tight. Bockingford is also a way better price. I wish I had purchased the Bockingford first as it is perfect. (I use pencil, Rapidograph pen and watercolour)

As fine watercolor paper is, it's on the pricey side, but....worth it. Absorbs and pools like a dream and has very high durability.
