Cam quality is great, however... 1. Cam IP is hidden, you have to use 3rd. Party app to show IP and port number of this cam to be able to connect cam to security software like Blue Iris, 2. App for cam viewing needs lots and I mean lots work, it is missing key features like zoom in zoom out, PTZ presets, volume control, camera settings like IP, Port, DHCP can not be changed or turned on or off... cam works great video is also sharp and clear day or night, however it needs lots improvement to be considered as great security camera app features like visible IP & port, PTZ presets is a must, control over DHCP on/off is a must to keep IP from randomly changing... Ones all this concern address then and only then the product will deserve 5-star review! P.S. 32 GB SD Card MUST BE FORMATTED ON PC BEFORE YOU CAN USE IT! To remove SD card you must unscrew 4 screws on top of cam you may want to consider getting 64 or 128 GB SD card before you install camera.

Made if cheap plastic, doesn't look like a weather proof outdoor unit.Here were the problems I had with it:1. The package has a one page instruction manual, very limited info.2. The design of the wires are not great, I had to drill a 3/4" hole in my wall for the cable/connector to go through from the outer wall. The placement of the 3 screws on the camera plate is in the way of the actual camera itself, i took me almost 15 minutes to try to screw in those 3 screws correctly without damaging the main camera unit.3. It comes with a 32Gb MicroSD card, but the card was defective. I did not find out about the defective SD card until after I already installed the camera onto my wall under my garage's front roof. And the placement of the TF card (microSD card) is at the top of the camera, which is secured by 2 little screws. Thus, I couldn't replace the defective SD Card unless I have to unmount the whole camera off my wall, this made the whole installation process took me almost 2 hours.4. Once everything was hooked up, I had to download its own proprietary app "ICSee" to use this camera. There was no info for me to use it with Blue Iris.5. Setting options are pretty basic and limited, there's not much setting you can do. For a camera over $100, there's recording schedule settings, no way to exclude zones (part of the screen), no optical zooms, motion detection scheduling is also very limited. There's no option to record feeds to a network location (only to the SD Card), etc...6. The whole camera's housing and base are made entirely of very thin plastic, it looks brittle.7. Video quality is not clear as 1080p should be, and definitely wasn't recorded at 30 fps, very laggy and blurry.This definitely not worth over the money at all. I'm going to have to un-install everything and send it back. Wasted a lot of time on this product.

UPDATED: We’ve had several different brands and types of security cameras. We were happy with the features available on this one. Keep looking! Don’t waste your money on this piece of junk. If you get six months out of it, you’ll be lucky. About two months ago (4 months after purchase) we could no longer control the camera via the app. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, completely resetting everything, and still no luck. This week, it completely quit working. We were originally so impressed with the purchase we bought a second for a family member. Guess what? SAME PROBLEMS!!!!!! Tried to contact the seller re warranty and zero reply or acknowledgment.Original review- since revised-Very impressed with this camera and the app for viewing, recording, and motion alarms. It has a very clear picture and we love the motion detection alarms - you can set an area that you want to be notified of and the sensitivity.

The camera was not hard to set up, but the app could use some upgrades. Trying to zoom doesn't work the best, because the pan and tilt are built in to the image using swipe up down or left right. So, when you try to zoom the camera moves. The pan and tilt are slow to respond. The image is pretty good, but pixelates bad when you pan or tilt. Seems to take a bit for the camera to catch up to the request. To download a video from storage is a bit confusing the first time.

This is a Fabulous Security Camera. My only regrets are that I waited this Long to purchase one.Had I known then what I know now,,,, Oh my I Would have bought it months ago and Several of them. Who knew that setting up a home WiFi Camera would be so step by step simple. The Video Clarity is Sooper. Now I’m hooked,, and Definitely going to have fun setting this one up and then I’m going to buy me at least 3 more. These are fun,, with great Real-Time Remote Viewing. I can run this with my Smart Phone App. or a regular home Security system that does it all like record, playback and off site viewing when I’m not home and I just want too check on things.I’m real happy I went with this great, WiFi Smart Camera.

I do not like that the only way to control the cameras is to download their app which wants access to yourphotos media and files on your phone.and they want write permissions to write over programs you use. I will not allow them access to my phone and plan to request that amazon cease selling these devices on their website and I am going to return them for a full refund. Very deceitful...give them access to my personal data Heck no

Love this camera. Motion detector is sensitive but I can’t complain about that. Night vision is great. Picks up on sound really well. I live beside a very busy road in an area known for drug addicts but I work very long hours often with only one day a week off. These cameras have been a solid peace of mind to me. Several of my coworkers have bought some as well and are very impressed and happy with their purchase.

Ok so it's a security camera and it's ok except the resolution at night is horrendous because the lens fogs up so horribly. I have done and bullet cameras and none of them have this issue. The app itself is also just clunky and reviewing past recordings is an excercise in frustration. I am going to move it to an area that requires less coverage and sees less activity so I can hopefully have useable recordings if the need arises.
