Fun World Lump of Coal Costume Accessory

It appears much larger online. Unfortunately the bags of coal are very small and way overpriced. I kept them anyway but I would not buy this product again.

I am basically happy with purchase, but I received all the same pouches, "Merry Christmas". Thought I was going to get two of those and two with pouches that read "You've been naughty!" But it works for what I intended.

The dimensions of each piece of "coal" is about an inch by an inch. The coal is not real. I'm not sure what they are made of, but they definitely have a convincing feel to them (they feel like rocks). I'm overall happy with my purchase.

I bought this as a gag gift and found it to be the next best thing to a real lump of coal! The recipient of the gift also got a laugh out of it and was impressed with the quality.

I thought the product was tagged as some sort of cinnamon candy, which it definitely was not. Barring that, however, these arrived in an over-stuffed envelope open and damaged.

For some reason that I can't fathom, my 6-yr-old grandson asked for coal for Christmas. He even put a request into Santa for it. My daughter called me Christmas morning to let me know how excited he was that he got the coal. I didn't know they make fake coal..I was going to tell her just go buy the real stuff. Everyone said what a mess that would make. I even like the two red cloth bags this product comes in. Shipping was a little slow and I was getting nervous it wouldn't arrive in time..it had to come to me in CT and up to grandson in VT. I chalk it up with mail being slow due to hurricane Sandy, etc. Bottom line: Santa's Workshop made on little boy very happy.

I ordered 8 bags of coal for my family and they all loved it very much. I have one new neice and newphew was just born on December 6th. My Mom and Dad would put candy coal in our stockings every Christmas and I loved getting it. What a great tradition to continue from now on now that I know where to find it on the Net. It tastes so good too. I don't like the bubble gum ooal so this is much better. And in moderation is isn't bad at all.Looking forward to next year already!ThanksRichard Colton

Good concept. Poor execution. The coal arrived, but is a cast piece of something that has a black surface, but is not coal. There is an obvious seam on each lump of coal and unless coal pieces are suddenly identical in shape and form, this is not the real thing
