After reading a bunch of reviews off of Amazon, I finally decided on this Orolay coat. I needed a practical, everyday coat for the cold and often gusty days in Ohio when I’m out walking our dogs. This one was rated quite well and I liked that it had the double zipper, was longer in length, and had a hood that didn’t have any fake fur on it. Though I like the look of those types of hoods, I’ve found that they start to look matted and gross after a while and washing it doesn’t help. So I opted for this one. If you read several of the reviews posted on here, many people said to size up and I will say that it’s true. Size up if you don’t have very skinny arms or are on the bustier side. I’m normally a medium, but I got a large instead. The arms are definitely designed more snug fitting and the hand warmers are too. Other than that advice, I’d say go for it. I’m super short so the coat hits me almost to the knees, but it’s great because it blocks out a lot of the wind and you stay nice and warm. In spite of the warmth, it’s very lightweight, doesn’t appear bulky, and figure flattering. I love how you can unzip the bottom while sitting! It makes the coat very comfortable while driving. I read many reviews that said sometimes the down inside may smell. There was zero odor when I opened it and none since. I don’t feel any feathers poking me either. It is definitely wrinkled when you first take it out of the packaging, but fluffs up nicely once you open it up and air it out a bit. I have yet to wash it so that’ll be a test to be seen, but otherwise I say go for it. It seems like a very well made coat. I got it on the Black Friday deal for under $100, and I think it’ll end up being worth every penny.

Thank goodness I bought this! ! It’s so warm and cozy. I don’t even need to carry a purse because it has 4 zippered pockets outside and a good sized zippered pocket inside. This coat is so flattering as it fits and then flares from the waist. I read the other reviews and sized up which is the best advice as a coat shouldn’t fit too tightly and make you feel like a sausage. Plus, you can wear layers on the chilliest of snow days.I purchased the blue one and it is the loveliest tanzanite blue. I love the pop of color.I’m short, so this is just what I wanted. A long coat that covers long sweaters and shirts without them sticking out from the bottom.The hand-warmer inner sleeves are such a nice bonus!The hood isn’t bulky and has stretchy drawcords that make it seal out the cold and the front zipper zips up to the top of my neck for added protection and it has a zipper “garage” so your neck doesn’t get chafed by it. No scarf needed.If I had one wish, I would wish it were waterproof too. Then it would be the best coat ever! But, it’s great for a dry cold winter’s day so, yay!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this coat. I wanted something lightweight yet still warm for Boston winters, and this coat delivered.The good:- Lightweight yet still warm.- Flattering fit. I love how the hood is not attached to the zipper so that the collar stands up even if you do not have it zipped all the way. The length of the coat is also nice. Cute button detail in the back. I also want to comment on the thumb hole detail- others have found this annoying but I liked this detail. It is tight, but not annoyingly so. I think it is functional, particularly if your goal is to stay warm. I also had no problem just bypassing the thumb hole and wearing it around my wrist. I guess it would be annoying if you had a watch that needed to be accessible, but this was not an issue for me.- Color. I tried the Gray/Medium and then the Cream/Large. I liked both colors a lot.The bad:- Sizing. I am 5'5" and 150lbs (size M, 6/8), and originally ordered my usual size Medium. It fit, and was very cute, but the shoulders were really tight so I worried about adding layers. So I tried sizing up to a Large, and it was HUGE. I am so bummed, because otherwise the coat is exactly what I'm looking for.So overall, I highly recommend, but sadly not if you're broad shouldered!

This is an amazing quality jacket! Perfect for chilly winter days and surprisingly light weight. I’ve had winter coats that are so heavy and this one is not, yet keeps me just as warm. I’ve been wearing in cold temperatures (15-30 degrees) and it has been amazing. Keeps my body warm and protected from the wind. It’s super functional and cute too. The way the zipper and hood are designed is literally perfect for me and also keeps me dry in drizzle and the wet kind of snow which I definitely appreciate. I also like the thumb holes, but it can be a bit of an adjustment when adding gloves on top of it. Overall, a great find and the quality seems to hold up! Would definitely recommend!I had the experience where sizing up was too much. I am typically a size small and originally got a medium that was just too big for me. Returned and got a small and it’s perfect! I can still have some layers on and have comfort.

Needed a Warm coat to wear during my early morning 3-4 mile walks during this 20-30 degree cold, windy weather we’re experiencing in northwestern New Jersey this winter. This is the perfect coat!The description of the coat by the seller is accurate. The sizing is accurate. The Fit is Flattering. The two side zippered pockets are big enough to hold my13 Pro Max iPhone.The sleeves have an attached thumb hole extension piece that you can choose to wear or not.The coat does not feel bulky, so sitting or driving with the coat on is comfortable specially with the two way zipper closure. All in all this coat is warm and has a flattering fit!

When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the look, style, fit, and warmth. However, I soon found out that I couldn't depend on the zipper to function properly. It malfunctioned everything I used it. I either couldn't get it up or apart. I sadly had to return it.

It was a very nice quality parka. Was a little too big and have returned.

Morbidissimo, tiene caldo ma non appesantisce per niente. Vestibilità, qualità e rifiniture eccellenti. La confezione con cerniera che lo contiene è praticissima per riporlo nei mesi estivi o per portarlo in valigia poiché prende veramente poco spazio. Ho acquistato il colore grigio. L'effetto satinato del rivestimento esterno rende il capo raffinato. Per quanto mi riguarda non saprei indicare un difetto di alcun genere. Certo, ha il suo costo e devo dire che ero un po' perplessa ma dopo averlo ricevuto ed indossato posso affermare che sicuramente lo ricomprerei di nuovo.

Good fit… I’m a size 14 & ordered XL so I can still get a thick jumper underneath it.Love the thumb hole in the ribbing at the bottom of the sleeve… helps keep my hands warm. Looks trendy too!

Es calentito, cómodo, tiene estilo.. es perfecto.Me encanta ¡n los detalles del guantelete de las manos, ayuda mucho a que no se ahílate en los brazos (tiene un forro interior de Lycra que da mucho valor en los brazos). Se puede usar incluso con manga corta y aún así estarás abrigada..! La calidad es excelente. Tallaje perfecto.

Eine gute Entscheidung war es, dass ich diese Daunenjacke von Orolay gekauft habe. Und…ich hab mir einige Jacken angeschaut. Kürzere, längere, mit Kapuze und ohne mit verschiedener Materialzusammensetzung und Wettereigenschaften.Entschieden habe ich mich für diese gesteppten Wintermantel weil er mit 90 % weiße Entendaunen und 10 % Federn versehen ist und gute Wärmeeigenschaften hat. Das Obermaterial besteht aus 100 % Polyester ist wasserabweisend und hat sich bei eisigen Wind sehr gut bewährt. An der guten Materialkombi hatte ich mich diesen Winter bei zweistelligen Minusgraden und eisigen Wind schon einige Male daran gefreut. Der Wintermantel absolut winddicht und sooo warm. Darunter hatte ich einen ganz normalen Winterpulli getragen. Also nicht mehrere Lagen und mir war es trotz der Kälte warm.Die Jacke ist dann mit einem gut laufenden Reißverschluss versehen und kann bis zum Kinn hochgezogen werden,damit auch der Hals gut geschützt ist und kein Windchen reingeht. Am Hals finde ich es dann ganz geschlossen ein bisschen eng, wenn der Reißverschluss dann bis ganz oben zugezogen ist. Aber das ist das Einzigste was ich jetzt zu bemängeln habe.Was das Optische anbelangt, den Schnitt der Daunenjacke der gefällt mir durch die Absteppungen richtig gut und schaut sehr lässig aus. Hinten etwas länger nach vorne etwas kürzer. Die Tasche hat dann genügend Taschen (4 Stück - Brust und seitlich bei der Hüfte), die ebenfalls mit stabilen Reißverschluss versehen ist.Die Jacke hat dann einen Stehkragen mit fest angenähter Kapuze, die durch den integrierten Gummizug im Kapuzenteil dann wenn’s richtig windig und kalt ist dann sehr gut schützt. Die Kapuze finde ich von der Weite optimal geschnitten. Nicht zu eng oder weit.Bei der Wahl der richtigen Jackengrösse war ich mir längere Zeit sehr unschlüssig, welche wohl die richtige Größe für mich ist. Hab mich dann für die M entschlossen. Hatte noch einen kleinen Puffer zwischen Pulli und Jacke und macht ne schöne Figur. Größe L wäre zwar für noch mehr zusätzliche Kleidung darunter vielleicht ganz gut gewesen, hätte aber dann wahrscheinlich optisch nicht mehr so gut gewirkt. Normalerweise trage ich bei Größe 38/40 Größe M, die dann gepasst hat.Die Armlänge und Mantellänge finde ich bei meinen 164 cm, die passt. Die eingenähten Bündchen an den Ärmeln liegen an, wenn man mit den Händen reinschlüpft. Es können zusätzlich noch Handschuhe darüber gezogen werden. Wer will kann die Bündchen auch ignorieren und einfach die Hände an den Ärmeln ohne rausschauen lassen.Mein Fazit:Absolut empfehlenswerte Jacke mit akzeptablen Preis Leistungsverhältnis Hatte Sie beim Kauf zu aktuell 118 Euro gekauft. Für eine Daunenjacke mehr als okay. Hält so schön warm und schaut auch noch gut aus. Passt.
