I bought this dispenser because I really dislike the hanging ones that just dangle and keep hitting the leash as I'm walking my dog. This one has small velcro straps at both, the top and the bottom. The metal clasp is also good because it keeps the holder high on the leash so it's not sliding down. The little zipper holder is good to keep an extra set of keys strictly for walking my dog. The only downside is that the dispensing hole for the poop bag roll is a little bit too big. When I have a new roll, it tends to be really tight in there (I think it's because of the keys in the zipper compartment so it might not happen to you) and the whole roll starts coming out through the dispensing hole. Once the roll is smaller, I don't have this problem. Maybe if that hole was a little smaller, I wouldn't have that problem. The roll goes in another slit which has velcro on it to keep the roll in. Oh! And the used poop bag holder is very convenient too. I don't have to hold onto the bag while waiting to get near a trash receptacle. Now, I can just let that little holder do that dirty work (hee hee). Other than that I really do like the sturdiness of the holder. The color is really nice and all the neat little extras are a great touch to a poop bag dispenser.

The Velcro attachment could be a little better but overall I like it. I like the flatness this has compared to the others I’ve looked at. It doesn’t dangle around and that’s what I was going for. I like the bag holder attachment but haven’t use that part. I also switch between a flat and round leash so either way this works. The extra buckle attachment obviously only works on the flat leashes. Wish they offered more colors

It's surprising how difficult it is to find a low-profile poo bag holder. That is why I really like this one. The bag removal in the back of storage case is inconvenient but the lightweight, streamlined profile of this holder works for my narrow leash (the Ezydog Vario 6 for small dogs). I don't like poo bag holders that swing loose. This one has velcro and a metal attachment. That said, it does not stay in place without help so I use a cable connector so that it doesn't slide down the leash. This also has a used poo bag holder. I don't know what more don't come with this feature. I have read reviews where the velcro fails. I have yet to experience that but if it does happen, there are other ways to secure the holder.

I have purchased several different types of Poop bag dispensers The containers frequently break and the bags cannot be removed. Now you have to physically open the dispenser and disassemble i, or open it to remove the roll inside then unroll it to break off one bag. Now you have to re-do everything you just undid.Those days are finally over. The Kurgo Duty Bag poop bag dispenser works great. The bags are actually dispensed in a manner that is perfect. It has a low profile when attached to the leash. The best part is, it actually dispenses the bag without jamming or having to disassemble the damn thing to be able to remove a poop bag. One thing, I found and this is why I included the pictures in my review.The hook attachment should be installed within the Hand hold loop of the leash. ( see photos)Only because, if you attach directly to leash line, it will travel or slide down the leash. This is, far and away, the best "minimalist" poop bag dispenser on the market.That is, if what you want is just a small, lightweight pouch/container to carry & easily dispense poop bags from any standard roll - no frills, no wasted space to carry your car keys/treats/phone/wallet/kitchen sink or whatever - the easily & securely attaches to a leash, you absolutely will not find anything better than this.It's well made, the design is brilliant, lays flat, weighs next to nothing and is barely noticeable attached to a leash. It's perfect for its intended use, as advertised. It is NOT a purse or wallet or backpack with a leash clip, like most other similar products.This bag is purpose built to one thing, and it does it marvelously. So, if you want a great poop bag dispenser that won't get in the way, this is it.

I love this thing. Got it today and Archie gladly helped me test it out. I also carry a whistle attached to my bag holder and got tired of wrapping the whistle with the hard plastic bone in a paper towel so it is not rattling with every step. Carry in pocket. Now I can attach some treats and we are ready to go. Got a second one for my shoulder bag so I have one for each equipment set.Velcro straps seem a little weak.

Pros:- The cloth material is "quiet" compared to the hard plastic competitors.- Offers a holder for filled poop bags.- Lays flat to the leash (though maybe because I also use the Quantum leash also from Kurgo and it obviously is designed to integrate with it, as mentioned in the cons).Cons:- There is no way of locking the spool in to allow for easy rotation of the roll (think like the pinholes on a toilet paper dispenser) when dispensing, which in turn prevents bags from coming out easily, forcing you to pull harder than should be necessary.- The opening for the bags to dispense from is too large such that the whole roll easily comes out when pulling as hard as is needed by the point above, especially when the roll is near-empty.- Bag has torn open rendering it worthless.- The clip for mating with the Quantum leash's loops has too wide of an opening, making it really only held on by the velcro straps.I wanted to like this product, truly. But it really isn't better than similar, cheaper alternatives that offer many of the same benefits.

I love the design of this bag holder. It’s not big or bulky, yet holds a lot of plastic poop bags, and fits well on a flat leash. I hooked the top to the bottom of the handle on my dog’s leash (to keep it from sliding) and the little Velcro straps keep it firmly in place. A bonus is the little hooks at the bottom...even if you don’t use poop bags feigned with handles, you can easily attach a used bag to the hook by tying the bag shut and putting it onto the hook just below the knot. Keeps everything tidy and east to handle.The only con I’d maybe have is that I’ve found (using the roll of bags that were provided with the holder) is that in unraveling the roll to get one bag out, the entire roll has a tendency to fall out if you’re not careful. But, that to me is a very minor issue. And since I plan on using handled bags that don’t come in a roll, I’m just going to put a few loose ones in the holder whenever we go out.While I haven’t had this for very long yet, it does appear to be very well made, good stitching, sturdy material, and I suspect it will last a very long time. Two paws very high up for this one!

I have found this to be a good little product. It fits onto my existing lead easily and is very secure.All of the poop bag rolls that I have tried have fit and the action of dispensing them has been fine although you do need to leave a little bit of the next bag protruding or you'll find yourself digging for the end next time.The two hooks at the bottom are a brilliant addition, BUT it can be quite difficult to get bags you've hooked on, back off, for the bin.It's easily the best dispenser that I've used for rolls of bags. Wish it came in a few different colours.

After using it for weeks now, i must say, this is very functional. Never thought i will enjoy using it. LoLIt works perfectly and it secured itself nicely on the leash.The hook for the poo-bag is convenient ... (don't have to carry that small plastic bag no more, really!).Overall, product build quality is very good.Strongly recommend it.
