Seems to work best at night in a dark room. We picked up 2 of these, and they do catch mosquitos. They are not flying into them in swarms or anything, but they do work. Fair warning if you have white sheets though, these lights will turn your sheets into a mosquito magnet if you keep one by the bed. So we set one of ours on the desk across the room.

We ha EA several of these now and for is they work good. I agree with another post, they are best at night in a dark room which is when we are really in need. We get mosquitos just about every night in ours. I do wish the fan was a tad stronger but it accomplishes our goal.

I am highly sensitive to mosquitos. One bite means a week of Benadryl and palm sized, torturously, itchy welts. This year, we have been getting mosquitoes in our bedroom. I’ve been wearing bug spray to bed. Yuck! Last night, I set this little contraption up a few hours before bedtime. When I checked it, it had caught the mosquito along with 4 pantry moths! This thing saved me a weeks worth of torture. $16 well spent!

It was effective. A few mosquitoes were eliminated one night. It was good.

Advertised as FLY catcher/killer, got a lot of other little critters but not a single fly. Priced well however and it did catch a lot of small moths.

Rather large, rather noisy, only successfully captures blind and deaf mosquitos or dead bugs I threw into it to make my wife think it was working

Looks attractive but don’t waste your money. The fan isn’t sting enough to pull tiny flies into trap.
