I am always a little hesitant when picking out something that is supposed to resemble or simulate natural things... but this time, I am surprised! It worked well. The sound is loud and does an excellent job of replicating the natural ones. I cannot yet comment on the longevity, but it IS plastic and seems decently made.

Our baby loves music. Wonderful sensory toy, great for motor skill development with the shaking. It is also bright and colorful. She reaches for it every day! Thank you!

I was looking for a rainstick for my classroom and settled on this one. It makes a really nice sound but the beads fall so fast that unless you really control and go super slow with tilting it, it all falls down fast. I wish the mechanism inside would allow for a little bit more of a trickle, but it will do for a cheap addition to my classroom.

Just the right size for my young children. I like that it’s made from natural materials instead of plastic giving it a more authentic look and feel. The rain sound is gentle and pleasing. The kids enjoy playing with it adding a fun new addition to our musical instrument collection.

It is a decent size, especially for someone that has fine motor deficits. I was a little disappointed with the rain sounds. Once the toy was turned over to make the noise, the rain sound was lacking and it only lasted about 2 seconds.

I purchased this bamboo rainstick for my 3 year old grandson. He loves musical instruments and often pretends to be a marching band. This will be a nice addition to his other instruments, and he can make the soothing sounds for his new sibling coming in two months. It is well made of sustainable materials.

I got this for my grandson who is a toddler. He liked it right away, but it fell apart and was completely unsafe for any child. Not worth the money. His mom replaced it with a plastic model and is much more suitable. I really don’t know what age this would be appropriate for, but there are better rain sticks on the market.
