I don’t have a gas range so I bought an electric hot plate for bbq. Most of these are made from gas with a sharp bottom and a detent to line up the grate. I bought one of those by mistake. This has a flat bottom that encompasses the round element and sits perfectly on the hot plate housing. I’m sure it can work just as well on a gas range but it fit my application as I needed.

It cook as it suppose to be but it’s not sturdy enough to be on top of the stove. I have to hold it with a pot cloth and put another pot to push it against or else it will keep on moving while you flip the meat or whatever you’re cooking.

It is good for propane or butane stove top portable hot plates. Wish it would work with induction cook top units!

I live on a sailboat and use propane stove for cooking. I find this to be very useful for cooking meats and vegetables. And if you're very careful you can toast bread with it.

After my first use, the coating got dark and immediately lost its protection.

The material is thin and week. Looks like too cheap although the price was cheap.

Good for an outdoor kbbq cooks the meat very fast and very easy to clean

Bought 3 sets of these for a Korean BBQ party. After the initial cooking, it was so black and burnt and almost impossible to clean. Don't waste your money and try to invest in a better one. I threw all three away.
