Great gadget but no quality control
The design is great and I do really like them but of the four I bought, all had damaged packaging, one is broken, and two didn’t drain at all - see pics. Literally no quality control from the supplier, which reflects other reviews I’ve seen. But when they work they are brilliant. I’ve tried a few tricks to solve issues with the two that didn’t work. So if yours don’t drain into the soil at all, remove and empty. Then very carefully fill just the clay cone with ‘just off the boil’ water. Prop up in a glass/mug till the water soaks through, then empty and repeat. Leave for at least an hour the second time, then fill and replant. Worked for me, but you need to be very sure they’re not leaky first, and be very careful filling the hot water. The last one had completely come apart in the box, so I’ll glue it together myself at some point.

Brilliant for watering indoor plants
These Bordy watering systems are brilliant. I used to use the glass bulbs with the long thin stems but they would get clogged up with mud and were quite fiddly. These are so easy to refil and so far my plants seem to love them. The plants are growing at an increased rate and lots of new shoots. I am going to replace all my glass bulbs with these.

Big and fragile
They are much bigger than I imagined, albeit with my record of watering that may not be a bad thing. Make sure the soil in your pot is watered and soft before pushing in. The terracotta point is fragile.

They don't hold water
Bought 2 and both drain very quickly. Had to seal properly myself with superglue to get them to hold the water for a few days like ones have had for a few years.Quality seems to have gone downhill.
