I was pleased with this casting eye kit. The quality of the guides is good and I had sufficient sizes availableto fix several different rods, including surf casting, bait casting and fly rods (stripping guides for the fly rods.I prefer double footed guides (which this kit contains). Some other kits have only single footed guides and for me weren't as usable.

Nice product. Good choice of sizes. I wish they had a few extra tips with slightly larger diameters. All around an excellent deal. One problem? Chinese company owned (as all are) by CCP.AMAZON. Tell us the country of origin. Big print easy to see.

As others have mentioned most do need to be ground down. Other than that, they look good with a nice assortment of sizes. Just finished a rod so I'll try to update on how they hold up in saltwater.

Nice selection of guides and sizes. I did file down the ends of the guide feet to make a cleaner transition in wrapping.

Repaired two rods with no problem, paid for itself for the whole kit already.

They worked out perfectly. Will definitely buy them again.
