Rothco Olive Drab Genuine GI 2 Quart Bladder Canteen - USA Made

First few times I used this canteen, I didn't realize you had to close the cap with 50 FT-LBS of torque or else it would leak. My other (older) 2QT bladders don't have this problem, which I believe is caused by bad molding on the threads and how they mate with the cap. Other than that, these are great water carriers, and are nearly indestructible. Another bonus is that the canteen makes a nice pillow for resting your head.

Made is the USA!! This was a gift for my husband. He started a "go bag." He was very pleased with this surprised addition.

Awesome to have on the trails! Get the insulated case with shoulder strap that is sold separately. Wash it out a few times with mild soap and water to get rid of the new plastic taste before you take it out on a trek,

Leaks, and had to be washed about 6 times to get the weird plastic taste out of it. I use it in my truck as a back up water supply, if it gets knocked over though it leaks. If ya get one, stay clear of rothco, they make crap!!! I also bought some boots from rothco, never again, they only lasted about 2 weeks before they started falling apart. Rothco, is using modern needs for military gear as an excuse to take advantage of people with a cheap, product that can, will, and does break. Buy GI issue if ya can.

I wanted something I could put in the door of a mini-cube fridge to hold my Crystal Light and this canteen does the job well. No one believes it holds so much, but I confirmed it by pouring a 64 ounce bottle into it.

usually when i purchase something, i look at the pictures to try and decide what kind of item i'll be reciving, saw the pouch, expected the pouch, didnt recive the pouch, now i have to wait another week to get a pouch in that'll fit it, not to mention the blader feels extemely flimsy, and on one side its so pliable i thought i had broke it when i poked it, we'll see if it holds up to a camping trip

This is pretty legit stuff i have used it a few times. This goes on easy and comes off well easier than the old nato olive and loam sticks.
