I've been using this soap for a couple months. At first I made the mistake of using this every day because my face felt so good. Yeah, don't do that. This soap is awesome, but using it too much will definitely dry it out. I've switched to using it morning and night every other day, and using noxema the days in between morning and night. Make sure to use a little lotion after and your face will be looking and feeling great.So far my acne seems to be going down, and face feels smoother after using it. I still have work to do, but I don't see this leaving my routine.Also, I read a review that this soap breaks down quick because it's soft, so I bought this 3 pack thinking I would run out fast. That's not true from what I've seen. It breaks down like any other soap i've used.

I have been telling so many people about this soap, I call it my miracle soap! This is the only African black soap that works for me and not on just my face but my whole body. I've heard some people say that it's two strong for them and it breaks them out. It did the same thing to me when I first started using it, but a friend of mine (who had the same experience) told me to keep using it because it pulls out the impurities in the body and then afterwards you will see positive results and I did.... I love this soap and I make sure I never run out of it when I see I'm down to two bars I put in my order immediately... maybe it doesn't work for everybody, but it works for me

So after thoroughly researching the effectiveness of black soap for acne and hyperpigmentation and also for the brand with the most natural ingredients, I decided to give this one a try, since it comes HIGHLY recommended. And, now I see why!!! I just started using it this past Saturday night and have been using it twice a day since. I am a medium, mocha brown, Black woman who has struggled with moderate to severe acne as an adult for the past 10 years (I am 31 now). I enlisted the help of a very well known dermatologist here in Ny, Dr. Strachan and initially the sulfur wash and tazorac she gave me worked really well. However, it soon lost it's effectiveness and she recommended I do chemical peels as well as acne surgery, which is the removal of black heads. I did these treatments for years but started noticing that the more the aesthetician (whom I loved but is no longer there) removed my blackheads, the more they popped up. So after 10 years of torturing my skin with so many otc products and prescribed medicines, I'd finally had enough. Also, when I asked her about tea tree oil and more natural products at my last visit about a month ago, she became very rude and dismissive. That is when I knew enough was enough. Ever since then, I have recently decided to take a more holistic approach to my lifestyle and am dedicated to only putting things inside and outside of my body that are natural and as pure, as I can find. As for this soap, I am not sure if it is just the soap alone or the combination of that plus the witch hazel and vitamin c serum toner that I am using but my skin hasn't looked this good in years...and it hasn't even been a week yet!!! It does tingle just a little around the mouth area but aside from that, unlike some other reviewers, I have not dealt with any burning. I have tried aloe gel and jojoba oil as a moisturizer but I think it was breaking me out even more. I can admit though that even though it's not natural, I did also start using the differin moisturizer and have noticed that unlike ceraphil, my skin doesn't look like a shiny penny!! However, I have been hearing great things abt rosehip oil as well as safflower and grapeseed oil so once my skin is under control, I will invest and write a review on them. Anyway, I was naturally skeptical about using this because my skin is so oily and acne prone that I didn't want to use anything else that would exacerbate the breakouts...but so far, I see great improvements. At night, after I use the soap and before I apply the witch hazel combo, I use a few drops of 100% tea tree oil as well, to help get rid of the blackheads, since this is my biggest issue! I hope it will continue to work the magic that it has been so far. I can't give it a full five stars yet because it hasn't been long enough just yet however, I do highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to see their skin come alive, sooner than later! This soap cleans well, and smells ultra-fresh! It really helps with my psoriasis, too. I don't use it on my face or lady area because it's a little too stringent, but everywhere else is good! The lemon extract helps to brighten the skin, and the shea has a mild UV protective factor.

leaves your skin feeling clean and moisturized. helping my eczema go away

I have bought this a few times for at first my daughter, but I have also tried it and we both like it. My daughter has a case of acne if you know what I mean. And I am using it to clear dark marks under my arms, which is working and I even use it all over my body I like it, I still need to moisturize after showering etc but it is a useful product in my personal opinion. Try it out see how it works for you. Everyone is different remember that.

this product gets your skin clean,however it dries out the skin as well,I rather soap that won't leave my skin dry and flaky
