Take note of 2Fast4U's post - my field testing on the Bandit matches his comments exactly. I understand this filter was originally spec'd for the 1200 Bandits with carburetors. The filter spec'd for the 1250 Fuel-injected Bandits has less surface area but this one still fits - so use this one for both! Put this in my 1250 Bandit with HoleShot's stage one tune - exhaust has a slightly deeper and fuller tone to its purr. And when you wrap the throttle out on the freeway... very satisfying! This filter is defiantly required for the Stage II tune (headers, cat removed, secondary butterflies removed, ECU tweeked).

These K&N filters do add performance...but they also require re-jetting of the carbs. Directions for installation are skimpy as the part number was meant for multile bikes. I installed it on a 2003 suzuki bandit 1200S. When warm the bike did not want to run over 3000. The bike previously setup for high altitude, couldt use all the extra air.Overall a good product, just you got to know what you're getting yourself into before buying.W

Great filter for my 2011 Suzuki 1250 FA. It has more surface area than the recommended filter, 6005 I think. Improved mileage, and improved throttle response. All I use in my cars and motorcycles.

I have been waiting for long time, but I steal don't receve my goods. I would like to ride not wait.........
