If you have a jig saw and saw horses, you got this!! , Take the door down, place across saw horses (I laid the door on the landing of where our steps take a 45° turn down and simply cut it there. I merely feel for someone inexperienced, saw horses are the safest. You can go to Lowes and purchase metal saw horses which fold up into the size of a 2 x 4 for a reasonable price AND, they always come in handy for projects around the house.. Peace.. T

The media could not be loaded.  I uploaded a video already, but it does the trick. My fiancé says it’s mafe very cheap as he was installing it. The brush doesn’t seem to really brush them? But out of 5 cats no one is scared of it, it keeps the dogs from their Sandy Snacks (yuck!). And like I said on the video, it’s not pretty on a wood door but I wasn’t going to pay an extra $10 for the white one.Update: owned for about 6 months! Cats seem to love this. It’s an immediate escape from our 2 German Shepherds that love chasing them. They fly into this hole and watch the dogs from the inside. Some of them often stay in there till the dogs take a nap. Our 15 lb gray kitty is shown in the video leaving the hole. All of our cats seem to have no problem with it. The brush falls out on occasion but slips right back in, it IS also covered in cat hair so it does brush them on the way In. They don’t seem to ever scratch themselves on it so it must not be very noticeable. Definitely would repurchase. This has been the greatest device to keep our dogs out of the litter boxes.

This was so easy to install & It looks fabulous ! ! !the Litterbox & cat food & cat bed are now in the walk in closet where the dogs can NOT get at it. My Cat is LOVING it & so am ITHANK YOU ! ! !

So easy! My husband did not want me to cut the door to the litter closet so I did it all by myself while he was away. He admits that I was right. My cats took to it immediately. Now I don’t have to leave the door open, cuts down on odor! Looks good too.

I really like this product. I have 7 cats and was looking for a solution to keep litter box smells from going into the utility room and kitchen. Easy to install with a jig saw and the template worked great, just make sure you cut inside your line.I put 4 out of 5 stars on the adhesive, the adhesive seems a little flimsy and I’m curious how long it’ll stay up before I need to add new adhesive. Otherwise very happy with the product. I have a 22 pound cat that can easily fit through it and they enjoy the brush 😻

This worked well! I painted it black. It just took too long for me to get up the nerve to cut into a solid wood door. My beagle sized dog was trying to mark his territory over the cat litter and this has solved the problems!! Very happy with this product and both cats use it.

Great always open cat door. Added it to my bed room door so I could have the door closed but still let the cars in. For bigger cats it's kinda a tight fit and the stickers on the panels to hold it to the door aren't that sticky so I had to add duck tape

This was exactly as advertised and exactly what we needed. It's big enough for all our cats but too small for our puggle dog. Our handyman installed it, but he didn't seem to have any trouble doing so - so I guess it's easy enough to install. Our cats like the brush bristles, but I like that they are easily removable in case they didn't like them. I would recommend this unique product!
