I hate rubber bands because they break my hair so I use hair sticks. I also like being prepared to defend myself and others in a variety of ways. So I combined the two ideas and voila. Self defense hair stick.

Random acts of stupid happen all over the US and beyond. When a gun isn't an option, when pepper spray and other weapons are banned, or you just don't want to carry a blade, this is a good option. The weight is barely noticeable, but the kubaton is solid nonetheless. I was bored and poked out the glass on an abandoned car in one swing - your mileage may vary, but nary a scratch on the tip.And on the tip - that thing IS SHARP, it will puncture skin, it will hurt someone so be sure you have a good reason to use it. Definitely worth the recommendation.

When I first opened the package I was taken back by how big these self defense pieces really were; I had to go back and look at the pics....they do represent true size...I took a pic as well to show that they are the length of a grown individuals hand.*****************************After messing around with them and attaching them to my keys and work bag...I can see how Very handy the size and piercing strength would be, if needed; the size doesn’t bother me while attached to my keys. They are sharp enough to pierce an attacker, but not sharp like the end of a knife/blade...if a child got hold of one of these, they can only do damage if applying force (with that being said: Still Keep Out of Reach of Children)!!!***********************************I like that I don’t have to take the time to open up a knife to hurt an attacker, just grab this “Metal Defender” (my nickname for it ;-) and do some Damage!!! I like that it came with 6; plenty to put on keys, work bags, purses, etc and to share...great for the price!!Hope I never need to use one, but if I do...I’m Ready!!!

Package received new and on time. Once received each keychain was individually wrapped. Colours were bright and exactly as advertised.Will recommend.

I ordered this item and received the package quickly (thanks, Prime!). All of the pieces were good quality and I immediately stuck one in my purse and my car, and gave the rest away to family and friends. I definitely feel safer carrying it - it’s lightweight but sturdy. And the size is perfect even though I have small hands. I would definitely recommend even just for walking to your car for that added sense of protection.

Bought these to put on my key chains and they're awesome. My only criticisim is the tip is a bit sharp so if you ever have to use it defensively, be very careful because you can easily punture flesh
