DERMALOGY by NEOGENLAB CALMING CICA MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER

My bottle arrived perfectly intact no broken seal and has lasted about a year now. I have combination skin (T-zone oily) and live in Phoenix so its quite dry out here. I have issues finding the right blend of products to cleanse enough to avoid breakouts, but gentle and hydrating enough to not strip my skin. I love this product as my morning cleanser because I do a full skin care routine at night and found that using a regular cleanser in the morning made my skin dry and dull. I was constantly trying to combat this with extra moisturizers that just made my face too greasy. Since using this as my sole morning cleanser my skin has finally found the perfect balance! It is gentle but effective enough to keep the breakouts away without drying out my skin! I love how quick it is in the morning and the bright citrus scent helps me start my morning!

Purchased this as a random gift (most buys are gifts for family/friends) so below is her disappointed review so far:Just FYI.No safety seal on their micellar bottle.So the product leaked through and left a soapy gelatinous sticky residue all over the bottle.Yikes. Do I want this on my face? Very unappealing visually so it may take a while before even wanting to try this product.But I’m sharing this experience so there are no surprises.Thank goodness it was delivered in a plastic mail envelope.Will report back when I test this on my skin.

This cleansing water delivers on its marketing promises.It is gentle and moisturizing.All pros and raves. No cons.I will buy it again.

I was using the Neogen rose cleansing water and the calendula but this one is really much more moisturizing.

We all want and expect different outcomes. So, do keep that in mind when weighing the pros and cons of this product. First, a little skin information. I am a 40 year old woman with sensitive skin that is both oily and dry all at the same time. This product was certainly gentle enough not to anger my skin. However, in order to get all of my makeup off, I did have to rub a bit, and it did upset it a bit. I do not wear heavy makeup, but it did take a few goes to remove my non-waterproof mascara. If you're someone who doesn't wear make up, or barely any, then I think this product would be fine for you. I use this product on days when I do not wear makeup, or I'm wearing very little, and for that task, it's fine.I didn't notice any over drying with this product. I feel like this left the skin soft and clean without stripping away any vital oils from the face. And the scent that it imparted afterwards was pleasant and faded quickly into the background. So, if you are an asthmatic, or someone sensitive to smells, this product will be just fine for you.I think the amount of product you get for the price is good, if you're someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup that is! The product is easy to dispense and "wash" the skin with. Waste is minimal in this area.This product is effective if you have sensitive skin, a sensitive nose, and wear little to no makeup. You will definitely get your money's worth here. If you're someone who wears a bit of makeup, you will find that you will have to do a bit of rubbing and use a bit more of the product. I would recommend those people find another cleanser.

Foremost, this is a large container ... so it's a great value for your money! Additionally, it dispenses with care. Many comparable brands come pouring out too quickly ... and the cotton round becomes over-saturated (and I end up wasting a little). Here, you gently shake and a few drops come out, gently shake and more drops come out. It is very controlled. That's nice because it values your money. I like that!There is a very light and refreshing scent here. Maybe a very, very quiet lemon/citrus fragrance.And, this is effective! I used this right after work. So, I had on foundation. translucent powder, blush, brow enhancer, mascara, etc. The complete look. Well, it only took three cotton rounds to remove all of that makeup. Very impressive! Now, it does say that you can follow up with a quick wash or rinse. I have both done that and not done that. Either works ... I think it is just a personal preference.This is a large bottle, it works perfectly, and it dispenses with ease! I couldn't ask for more! Outstanding!
