This is my first really good pair of two-way radios and so far I am very pleased with them. These have more features than other sets I have used and the range is better as well. Before this set I was unfamiliar with lisheng as a brand, but I learned quickly that they produce quality equipment. These come with excellent documentation. I recommend reading it through to get a feel for what these can do and how to use them. They are intuitive and if you have used two-way radios in the past they are not hard to figure out, but the documentation makes it a lot easier to find features, settings and details of the capabilities.

I purchased this radio and programming cable with the belief there was programming software. There was none. All attempts to get help from Lisheng were unsuccessful. This company needs a point of contact willing to answer requests and a phone contact point in the USA.

Great Radio for the price, well made , easy to program highly recommend if you have problems programming then you haven't poked around on the internet enuff, there is a welth of information out there on these radios. I have bought 4 of these and courrently using two of them.I was very happy to discover that this is a very solidly built little two-way radio. Not only well built, but with a clarity of sound that was quite impressive.

This device covers a huge area. I have used it in Rocky Mountain National Park this weekend. It worked perfectly.

The seller sent out the device pretty fast after I made the purchase. It arrived on time too. i used in the national forest during Labor Day weekend. It worked very well. I regularly used them without recharge. The battery is very impressive. the quality of sound is awesome too. I love it.

Awesome radios - bought three and the programming cable. Software for programming is free, follow the link in the desciption. Changed the channels (you can select pretty much any frequency you want here, within a very wide range) as I'm not 100% sure that the default channels are approved by the FCC, nor its power. That said - have been working in a large building and these radios have been awesome. Sturdy, full day (maybe more) on a few hour charge, super clear and customizable (with the ten dollar programming cable and free software). Nocking a star for no FCC or CE label and default channels.

Excellent Radio for the price so far. These are the equal of the Vertex VX261’s that I purchased recently that cost 2.5X more. Great high capacity battery and fully functional and easy to use programming software. I took a chance and purchased an inexpensive generic Motorola/ICOM style 2 pin programming cable and it works flawlessly. It was less than half the price of the Lisheng cable. These radios have features even my X261’s do not. I am curious to see how durable and long lasting they are but they are built with a metal frame and heavy duty case so I am encouraged. Though I am still satisfied with the VX261, the new radio is promising.
