Winn Dri-Tac Standard Grip Kit (13-Piece)

Grips are great, exactly what I needed. Took quite some time to cut off the old grips and clean off the old grip tape (recommend using goo gone & rubbing alcohol). Once cleaned, install wasn't too bad, just work fast before the solvent dries. Make sure to use solvent inside the grip as well as on the the tape itself. Once the solvent dries, the grip is near impossible to move. For those saying there isn't enough solvent, you must be wasting it. I installed 10 of the 13 grips and have 3/4 of the bottle left. A vice to use the rubber holder on the shaft is almost a necessity, it makes install much easier.

I just purchased a new set of golf clubs at the start of the season and was hesitant of spending the money to regrip them, but I am happy I did. My hands do get damp in the sun, especially if I wipe my face and I feel more sure with the club in my hand than with my stock rubber grips. I have softened my grip and my swing feels better and more effortless. I regripped the clubs myself and found it easy and straightforward. The kit provides ample materials to accomplish this. I destroyed a credit card by bending it around the shaft to scrape the old tape off which seemed to work well. I have seen other methods of regripping using compressed air, but I don't see the point with the added risk of destroying the grip given how often I will be regripping. It was way too easy to do vs pay somebody to do this. I had my clubs gripped in 2 hours, plus I like doing things myself.**Update. I ended up reshafting one of my clubs and used the compressor method which worked great and was super fast. I used a barbed air nozzle to blow air in the end of the grip with 1 1/4" in PVC pipe placed over the length of the grip so the grip didn't pop like a balloon.To reinstall, I just slid the pipe on the shaft, worked a bit of the grip on the shaft, slid the pipe over and blew the air in while pushing the grip on the shaft. I think I will be using this method on my next set of grips.

Very comfortable golf grip and I like the softness. Grip doesn’t wear as well as other grips but the grip is easy on the hands which out weighs the durability of the grp

I bought this DIY grip kit to replace my old worn Winn grips. I like these better than the faux leather style I had before. The kit does not come with a blade so I purchased one separately and it is needed. I was able to easily replace all irons and driver with ease. The solution it comes with is very slippery and goes along way. I barely used a quarter of the bottle.Be sure to spray the tape after applying to the shaft and then a few squirts in the grip tube and it should push in easily. Also be sure to angle the grip onto the shaft as you may rip the end trying to just jam it in. Very happy with my purchase.

I love these grips but the kit could have been better. First the solvent is just enough so if you go by the general advice of using liberally, you run short. The tape is also not very sticky so tends to stand up at the edge. Didnt seem to effect putting the grip on but didn't look right.My first attempt at changing grips and it was quite easy. Most of the time was spent in taking the old tape off. Some clubs are worse that others. Using paint thinner that I had lying around helped. I would have liked to use the provided solvent for that too but as noted it wasn't enough. Having a hook blade really helps in cutting off the old grips. Specially if you have graphite shafts. I put a few scratches before going to Lowes and picking up hook blades that cost less than $3.

Bought these to replace grips on my entire set (Driver to Lob Wedge). I think these are attractive grips, and are definitely more tacky than the original grips that came with my clubs. Really like the feel of them, I am more secure with loosening up my death grip on the clubs without fear of flying my clubs over to the next fairway. I do wish the durability was better, as there are noticeable wear spots on my most commonly used clubs (Driver, PW) in less than one season of play. I would estimate I have used these for about 25 full rounds, and about that same number of practice sessions. Overall, am happy and will probably buy these again when I re-grip my clubs next spring.

The grips definitely dark grey, and are the red ended ones as shown in the picture, even if the description doesn't say so. I may guard against anything but dark grey or black in the future, because the colors get marred up by going in and out of the bag.These grips feel great, and put on a quality club will give tons of proper feedback. I personally like the 1/8" oversize, but I got this set to split with my nephew, who is big on the standard size.I did the install myself, and it was pretty easy with the tools provided. I did it over my kitchen sink with a clamp to hold the shaft near the club head end. I was afraid 4oz of solvent wouldn't be enough for a full set, but it does go a long way. Just a few sprays in the grip, and 3-4 on the tape, and you are good to go.

The paper and solvent is great and a small vise work wonders and saves money and time. To catch the excess solvent just get a roller paint tray and put under the grip. I love these grips. They are not as durable as my old Tour Velvets but a heck of a lot more easier on my hands.
