VOLT Flat Hat 12V Brass Path Light (7" Shade, 24" Tall) for Low Voltage Landscape Lighting on Outdoor Pathway, Walkway, Garden, Driveway or Patio

We bought two of these solid copper lights and they’re nicer than I expected. I can’t find anything about them that could be better made than they are already. Heavy duty materials from top to bottom. The thick glass enclosure where the bulb mounts really impressed me, and when the day comes to replace the bulb, it’s super easy by just unscrewing the copper ball on top, lift off the copper hood then unscrew the cool glass part and the old bulb is plucked off and the replacement stuck in the pin holes and slip the rest back on. It’s faster done than it took me to write that. The underside of the heavy copper dome is white to reflect more light and the white looks almost like porcelain or at the least powder coat paint that will be there long after I’m gone. It’s nice to buy something these days that’s this well made and the packed as securely as they were is impressive as well. We’re ordering two more next week.

I bought these light to replace some that were 8 years old. The glass lenses had broken in them so it was time to replace them. The company I bought my first lights at is still in business but they wanted over $140 per fixture, so I went looking on the internet. The lights I found are taller and have a hood three times the size of my old ones. Installation of 4 lights took about 1 hour since I was just replacing existing lights. I do think the Volt company should include 2 waterproof wire nuts and a bulb with the correct wattage. It would make the purchase a complete package. Saving a trip to the hardware store. Had I not read a review on the lights I wouldn’t have known to order light bulbs also. Overall a great looking light and nice price too.

Have Kichler path lights and the LED is non-replaceable. The first one started failing after only two years. Morever they were aluminum construction which is definitely not as strong as brass.This VOLT light is surprisingly well made. Made of brass and the light bulb is standard bipin that you can plug in any 12V LED bulb. The stake is nice and large--wide and deep, so should be very stable. The cord looks like 18 gauge or so and is pretty long to connect to the main line--you do need connectors. Highly recommended. Will definitely buy more.

I ordered 5 of these to install on the front walkway to my home. I found them to be of very high quality. Substantial weight, beautiful finish, and quality construction and design. They did not come with bulbs, but they were easy to install simply by using thumb and fingers to undo a small bolt and lifting the light assembly off. They were easy to install with a larger and higher quality than competitors' black plastic stake. While one of the light lenses was cracked upon arrival, they responded to my email within 4 hours and two days later I had a free replacement lens and 2 spares in my hand. Very good support service on this issue. I plan to buy more for an additional walkway in the Spring. I recommend this product!

The product is well made and stately. It seems "made to last" a long time. The underside of the "hat" is painted white (and thankfully it is taller than my 20 year old copper light) , so the increase in brightness and ground coverage is a major plus for me. Installation was simple and all of the parts were well-machined. Yes, you need to order the bulb of your choice separately. Since this is a replacement light, I had a ready supply of LEDs (that will yield far more light because of the superior design). Highly recommended.

Great look solid brass fitting well made. The only thing I was disappointed about was the light bulbs for the fixture were not included in the package and it was not mentioned in a He product description. These were being installed on a Sunday n luckily I live bout 25 minutes from a Home Depot where I was able to get em! If not the electrician would have wasted time coming! At least make sure buyers know there are no bulbs inside!😟

Very good, quality path lights for the price. Has a very rough finish to the copper so they tarnish very quickly. Originally I wanted to keep the bright copper look but now that they tarnished I now like the look. Had a small issue with lights when first order but when I contacted their support line they were extremely helpful and nice to deal with. Huge plus.

Heavy grade light almost a match to the 25 year old copper ones that got damaged. These look good and I think they will last for years. I also bought LED light bulbs to install in them. It’s much better to buy a light with change bulbs Incase the LED goes bad you don’t have to change the whole fixture.One of the 5 I ordered came with broken glass. Shipping can be rough on anything with glass, seller replaced it quickly at not cost.
