Duofold Men's Mid Weight Fleece Lined Thermal Shirt

I researched a bunch before buying this one. My husband is a auto mechanic so he spends most days outside. He works in a shop, but the bay door is ALWAYS open so it stays very cold while working on cars. He says the sleeves with the thumb holes are better, like the one I purchased, because it keeps him warmer but also protects his wrists while working on cars. He was able to stay warm and not have to wear a bulky coat while working. You really cant wear a bulky winter coat while getting inside an engine, anyways. But great product! SUPER SOFT INSIDE! I didnt dare put it in the dryer out of fear it would shrink so I hung it to dry. Dryed very quickly. Overnight. The small would have been way too tight. The large would have fit, but he tucks them into his shop pants and it would have been too bulky, with too much leftover material. If he was using it for skiing I would have bought the large. But the medium fit perfecr. It was not skin tight. It was loose enough to feel comfortable.

Material: There is a thin layer of fleece on the inside, and the shell is a smooth l, wicking material. All materials are breathable. Great for layering. Quality: Well-made. Very durable. Fit: I typically wear L. I sized up based on other reviews. I have a stocky build, and I wanted to be able to wear this with or without a base layer. Leaner builds may be okay in their true size. Design: This color has a textured, assymetrical screen print, which I love. I often search for men’s gear with interesting colors and prints. Features: The thumb holes are useful but do not need to be used. First Wear: Run at a temp of 51F. It was breezey so I wore an additional sleeveless, base layer. Awesome. I will purchase other colors. This is a great item to have for cool/cold weather outdoor activities.

These are great and they have thumb holes. Not too thick, not too thin. They feel about 1 1/2 times as thick as my military-issued "silkies" and are the right in-between base layer for those days when it's too cold for just the silkies and a pair of pants. I wore these as the base layer under fleece top, which was topped by my ski jacket (a Columbia 650 Powder Down jacket) 25-35 degree weather in a recent ski outing and was plenty warm all day. No issues.

These are the bomb. I live in Alaska and know what I am talking about. This layers well with other garments. The pants version of this top runs much smaller than the shirt. I am 5'9" and weigh 155, the medium fits but I bet the small would have fit me a little tighter for a fully conforming first layer. Couple this with some merino blend leggings and a pair of insulated Carhartt pants and you are almost ready for winter.

Very well constructed except for a somwhat saggy collar, and the feature that seemed interesting, the thumb holes.I guess it's meant to be worn with your thumbs looped through the holes, but I find it to restricting.The problem is the sleeves are longer than normal to accommodate the thumb holes, so you must reverse roll up the sleeves if you don't have long arms.I wear a compression Tee under this on chilly morning bike rides, and the collar sags below the bottom layer, but that's not a deal breaker.Sound negative for a 4 star review, huh. But in truth this is a real nice mid layer garment.I'm 5'8" 170 lbs, and Medium fits perfect.

I like everything about this thermal shirt! I had ordered this for my 6'1, 210 husband and it fits really well. This Veritherm style in a large had nice long sleeves and a loop hole for the thumb .I didn't think my husband would like the loop, but he really liked that option on this shirt. My husband has several style's of the Duofold thermals in shirts and pants. He really likes there products. The Varitherm style top feels smooth and soft. Its considered "Warmer"on the Duofold chart. He hasn't had a chance to test that, but based on past performance with other Duofold thermals, it should be. One more thing, the cut of the top is really nice. It gives it the form fit, without the too tight feel. Over all a really good thermal top.

great price great under layer duofold is quality, my husband is normally a size large w a bigger upper body & arms, debated on size but got this in med to wear as his first layer knowing he would want tighter, this fit perfect, large may have worked also but he doesnt mind it tighter and he likes to wear lots of layers this is super warm and nice looking you can sit around when taking breaks and remove layers and still look put together, he works outside so he has a assortment of "long johns" but when he goes to the gym or snowboarding he likes a nicer look, uses for running also with a tee shirt and shorts over his first layer. This is deff. one I would recommend and will buy in more colors as I see them for good priced I got a great deal on this that i am mad I did not buy a few, would recommend for sure!

I've been using the duofold base layers for years. I have worked as a delivery man and a garbage man in the Pacific Northwest, and currently work as a truck driver in the Midwest. Needless to say keeping warm and comfortable is a high priority in environments like these. I highly recommend these products top and bottom! They hold up very well, are extremely comfortable and when you have layers above them, I promise you will be the warmest person in the room. I also really enjoy the thumb holes. They do a great job of keeping your sleeves right where you want them.

I have been very happy with this shirt. It is named thermal and for the weight and bulk, it is warm. It isn't going to replace a fuzzy fleece sweater, but under it or on a cooler day by itself, all good.The inner fabric is a very soft lining. The outer material is smooth and a bit slippery. It hangs well, but might be a bit snug around the waist if you are carrying more than a few extra lbs in that area.The thumb holes are a nice touch. I never remember to use them when it is cold.

Fit and finish is top-notch. I recently took this on a whitewater canoe trip. This was mostly camp wear, keeping me warm after a day on the water. It was very cozy and comfortable. The last day I wore it in the water as we shot some big rapids. It worked great in that function, too, helping me dry off and keeping me warm when wet. Highly recommended.

Been using this shirt for the past month now. The fit is good, I do not feel uncomfortable at all wearing it. Does a good job of keeping me warm, especially when I wear it under a sweater or hoodie. Kept me warm while ice skating outdoors and snowboarding. Item arrived on time brand new with no damage. A great buying experience!

Esta térmica la compré para mi esposo y le resultó muy cómoda y protectora. A pesar de que no tiene cuerpo perfecto porque tiene un poco de barriga y a veces eso origina que no le gusten porque no se adapta, en este caso le ajustó perfectamente. Muy recomendable.
