It is a 2015 reprint of the original book. Hence it was brand new. Thanks for helping me get one of my favourite childhood books again!

The book arrived today & I’m so so pleased with it..... just how I remember it! I am buying these books to share with my 4yr old nephew, to show him the books I liked as a child. The condition of the book is gorgeous & I’m so excited to share it with him tomorrow. Thank you so much for making memories 😊

One of my best loved tales from childhood so delighted to get this as an aid in my studying of children's bok illustration - these artists from the 60's and 70's were tops!

Beautiful book. Lovely supplier. I love the fact that the book comes in its own little plastic bag to keep it in good condition for years to come. A real treasure. It took me straight back to my childhood. Thank you!

Fantastic book. Was a little disappointed that this was not an old original copy, but a cheaper quality recent reprint with a sleeve cover over the newer book. The illustrations bring back memories, though.

great reproduction of the original classic that we all know

Im so gutted I can't find anymore of these beautiful ladybird books. This is not the original but has all the original pictures, just printed.

I had loads of these as a child - so glad the publishers are re-issuing facsimiles of these versions. Nicer than the later cartoony versions!

So pleased it was original pictures and story, my niece loved it, had to read it 3 times in a row ! 🥴

I bought some of this books which where written in and one was torn there was one scribbled in and they where all worn away . So i couldn’t give them to my niece as a present . Never again

Absolute classic and beautiful pictures

This is my sons favourite fairy tale, at the age of 6yrs he enjoys reading this book over & over. He loves the more grown up illustrations too.
