Radiates great heat! Good for large cages
Really good bulb if ur pet cage is at least 4 sq ft. Radiates good amount of heat! I cannot say about durability. I returned after i tested it and founf out that it was too hot for my small bird cage. I highly recommend though. Made of thick glass bulb.

Great for the coop
On the extra cold winter night I turn on this heat lamp for my girls. I understand that turning a heat lamp is more to make me fill better than my chickens. I put this lamp on a time so it comes on during the coldest time of the night. It is perfect to take the chill out of the coop. I love this lamp. I will buy from this seller again.

Not a red light
This is not a red light as shown in the picture or on the box. It is bright like a regular bulb.

Different bulb
Looks nothing like the bulb in picture posted. If it looked like the same bulb I would have given it 5 stars.

The most important thing to me was to protect my new born chicks.
This product worked very well for me. I was concerned because winter is coming on, but the Chicks are doing very well, growing very fast. You can see for yourself on our YouTube channel Making Memories with Benji. Thanks

Works great!
Works great! Not too hot, keeps the chickens warm and best of all, it’s lasting!

Quality seems pretty good
it does what it's supposed to. It projects heat mostly frontward, and is much warmer than a fan-based space heater, for the wattage. I mounted it under my desk in the basement using a brooder fixture, and have been much more comfortable working down there this past winter.

burned out immediately
Within 5 seconds of turning it on it burned out. Don't know if I saved any of the $18 I paid for it after having to drive 20 miles to send it back for a refund. Sure looked durable though.
