Shows all styles of boats with fun characters which captivated a toddlers interest! I even learned something new for a Grama! Smaller book which is fun size to carry for a toddler! Totally recommend!

Great book

Grandkids love the book

My 3 year old son loves boats and we were recently looking for a good boat book for him. This book was a little disappointing. While it includes pictures of many different kinds of boats, the text is very simple, even for our 3 year old. (The first page says, "Boats float.") Each page has just a few words and none of the different types of boats are named or discussed. The pictures are cute and would be great for a very young audience. Otherwise be prepared to add a lot of detail as you go through the book with your child. I would have no problem with this book if it was advertised as a book for toddlers rather than the 4-8 year old age range that is listed in the description.

Using it for my future Grandson's shower

Great book, however, thin paper pages make it difficult for a 1 and a half year old to read without damaging the pages. Requires a a parent or older sibling to sit with the toddler to insure that pages are not ripped or bent. Would be a 5 star if hevier pages were used.

My three year old son loves this boat book. It has a nice combination of simple text and beautiful illustrations.
