Amazon EssentialsMen's Regular-Fit Crewneck T-Shirts, Long-Sleeve

I bought one of the colors for my boyfriend and he loves them so much we have since purchased three more colors. He is 5’9”, weighs 175 and we ended up sizing up to a large because they do shrink a little in the wash. The sleeves run on the shorter side especially after washing, so if you have really long arms I would size up as well. The fabric is SO soft and he says they are very comfortable. He layers them under jackets or they look nice on their own with jeans, etc. Highly recommend for the price!

I was very impressed with the quality of this tee shirt. The cotton material is very soft and the color is exactly what I wanted. My only gripe is that the long sleeves are a bit too short. An additional 3/4", or 1 inch in sleeve length would be greatly appreciated. Note that I am of average/normal proportions and I am not overweight. Usually, I purchase Hanes Beefy Tees but I will be trying more of the Amazon Essentials.

Overall, a comfortable, well-priced and practical shirt. It is comprised of a good weight cotton, well sewn and crafted. Though it has not appeared to shrink, the darker shade of maroon has faded in only a few washings in cold water with gentle detergent. Did not notice until I ordered an additional shirt and when folding the older and newer ones and stacking them to put away, the difference in the depth of color was quite apparent. Obviously, with the lighter shades, this won't be a problem.

What the heck, this is an amazon essentials shirt. I expected a lot less out of it. This is a great quality shirt! It is soft, warm, has a big pocket, and is long enough. I'm surprised and i think amazon essentials is upping its game?

Every time I put this shirt on I tell myself I'm going to go back and write a review so other don't make the same mistake.Pros: Very soft thick cotton. Warm and comfortable Should fit OK for someone a lot shorter than me. Could be a good value for the right person.Cons: Length and sleaves are too short for a tall slim person. First I ordered an X-large based on reviews. The length and sleaves were OK but the body was way too wide and baggy for me, so I gave it away. Then I ordered a large which is what I normally wear. The sleaves and length were too short for me but the body was good. I still wear them but half my forearms show and my stomach often is exposed when sitting. They shrink a lot after washing in cold water. The hem curls up at the bottom which makes it even shorter. I try to correct it, but it won't stay.Then my sister gave me a long sleave T-shirt from REI. The large fit just right! But then it probably cost three times as much as this one.

It's almost a perfect long sleeve t-shirt. I don't like slim fit t-shirts. I like the classic, boxy, loose fitting t-shirts.; this one is like that. I'm not a large guy, but I got an XL because I have broad shoulders and like somewhat baggy clothes. It fits perfectly on my shoulders and hangs nicely, with a boxy relaxed fit that doesn't stretch across the chest. The material is just thick enough to feel durable, but still pretty soft.I say "almost perfect" though for two reasons. First, I wish it had those stretchy cuffs. Second, I wish the length was half an inch, maybe a one full inch longer. These are really very minor, personal issues of taste.The shirt looks and feels good if you're looking for classic, relaxed fit t-shirt. Size up if you want a looser fit, it won't be too big.

This shirt is great.Nice material, fit, and pocket seems useful.Good length and flattering for bigger fellas like myself.

This review is of a Men's Medium long sleeve 100% cotton knit shirt that I bought for myself, a woman 5'8" 140lb athletic build broad shoulders and long arms.I've tried a few of Amazon's clothing products, most of which I had to send back because they were so tight. It's one thing when they are too big, because I can easily alter them to fit. It's harder to expand clothing that is too small. This shirt is BOTH too big and too small.Note: I have laundered it in cold water and machine-dried it on low heat, as the label recommends, but it shrank. I think the sleeves lost at least 2 inches.I will keep this shirt because the material is quite nice: soft stretchy knit cotton that is substantial but not overly heavy, the pattern is very cute (charcoal-colored rough lines like chalk marks on a black background), the sleeves are flexible enough for me to push up to my elbows, and the Too-Big aspect of it means that I can make easy alterations to make this shirt fit me in the body.I fully expected that it might be far too large for me in every way, since I would normally wear a Men's Small or Extra-Small, in which case my man would get a surprise new shirt. But I didn't expect that the sleeves would be like a 3/4 sleeve for him (6'3" typically a Men's Medium), but that they would be too short by a few inches for me as well.The body is quite long, as expected for a men's shirt. My man could wear this length. But I prefer shirts that just skim the top of my jeans. So I will cut off the bottom of the shirt and turn it into sleeve extenders.The body is about the correct width for him, but quite large on me. The yoke is just a long for me as well. The collar fits exactly right on me, so it's too small for him. Given all of that, I will either leave the chest and waist loose for a relaxed fit, or I will shape it to give it a more feminine tailoring, while cutting off the five inches that I don't need from the bottom and sewing them to the sleeves which definitely do need them!Anyway, if you are a guy with very short arms and too much fat around your middle, or if you always wear your long sleeves pushed up to the elbow anyway, this shirt might work for you off the rack. Everyone else will have to alter the shirt to fit.

Ordered a size large for a 42” chest and it fit just fine. Machine washed well, however I let it airdry so unsure about shrinkage if machine dried. Fabric is soft and of medium weight. Shirt worked perfectly to keep the sun off and lessen the chill after being in water.

Great quality material. Wash and throw it in the dryer. No shrinkage! My husband works outside and this long sleeve tee keeps him nice and warm without making him sweat. It fits perfect. Sleeves and body are long enough. Price is great too.
