16 pound Cairn Terrier ripped open the first day (but he loved destroying it)
Not many toys last with our 1 year old Cairn Terrier, but I was optimistic. Parts were chewed off and toy was ripped open within first few hours. But he loved destroying it!

Tough as hell, just wasn’t enough.
Got this after one of my best friends recommended it. My nephew’s pit mixed breed dog is surgical when it comes destroying dog toys, so I was hopeful. I live 5 mins away from him, but I didn’t even make it home before Scout had that trout GUTTED AND FLAT. 😜In the trout’s defense, that dog could beta test dog toys. Tonka and Kong rubber toys become little pea-sized pieces... braided, knotted rope as big around as your wrist - multiple little piles of threads... so it isn’t that the trout wasn’t tough; it’s just that any toy with a squeaker inside has just minutes to live. LolSo the trout’s skin is pretty much puncture-proof and is still intact in one piece, just flat as a handkerchief. When that dog hears a squeaker, she looks for & finds a seam - and it’s all over! Hahaha. She still plays with the skin though, we tug o war with it, so I added a second star for tough - it just wasn’t up to Scout’s IQ (on the dog scale, she is Mensa smart...)

Doomed
We received on July 27 and here are pics of July 29. My Shitzu/Maltese has already chewed off the fin and ripped open the stomach. Oh well, on to the next victim.

We've bought about 3 dozen of these.
Our German Shepherd carries her fish around like a pacifier. We've bought at least a couple dozen over the last 12 years, and she's as excited now to get a new one as she was when she was just a puppy. They aren't meant to stand up to tug of war games, and I'm sure they would last longer if my husband didn't grab them and try to wrestle them away from the dog. They don't last long at our house, but our dog just loves them so much we can't say no.

Holding up even to a toy-destroying corgi
My corgi is a destroyer of toys. Most are ripped open and desqueaked within an hour or so, and very few survive intact for more than a few days. This snake, however, is holding up very well. Yes, my dog did rip out the tongue within an hour, and has torn a slight hole in the front of the snake to remove some stuffing. But other than that, it's in perfect condition after a couple of weeks of daily tug-of-war, chewing, being tossed in the air, and general roughhousing. If your dog is a toy destroyer like mine, I highly recommend giving snakee a try.

Fairly robust toy suitable for medium and large dogs.
My young springer spaniel loves his Fish and has played with it daily for six months so far. He is fairly tough on soft toys, tending to disembowel teddies and chew their ears off but Fish hasn’t been customised at all. My labrador, who is older, has always preferred softer more cuddly toys so isn’t interested in this toy but if your dogs isn’t as fussy as this and isn’t a manic chewer, then this toy is good fun, fairly durable and a nice size for medium and larger dogs to carry and play with.UPDATE (17th May 2020) - nearly a year later and this fish is more popular than ever with his spaniel owner. It hasn’t been chewed up and has survived several washes in my washing machine. Even the squeak still works !

My malamute hasn't yet destroyed it
This has lasted a lot longer than similar toys destroyed by my malamute, however she doesn't play with it much. She loves to chew things with texture so I don't think this fulfils that need, but it is incredibly tough and I think it poses a challenge for her! She can destroy other toys too easily, so she comes back to this from time to time.

Thay love it when pulling the stuffing comes out
My 2 young ChowChow/staffies love this toy but its not strong enough reallyWhen they pulled it they bit straight into the stiffing for them part of the funThe stuffing seems to be in srperate compartments so it lasted a week amd they still love it without the stuffing

Fake Trout Wins
We have a Welsh Terrier who adores toys made by this company. They're near indestructible and are far more durable than most products - we're also treated to the comic sight of him parading around with a fake Trout in his mouth.
