This collar was a waste of money. I should've stuck to my policies - never buy cheap products.At first this collar was fine, until it came to the first battery charge then everything went wrong.[1] - First Charge: The rubber cover which covers the charging socket, just come away in my hand. I thought no big deal, it would still hold from the surrounding case. It is required to keep the wet getting into the circuitry.[2] - Second Charge: I removed the rubber cover to access the charging socket. However, I went to plug in the USB charger cable and the charging socket pushed straight inside the small plastic unit.I am a Technical Consumer Product Tester for many large companies. However even on taking this unit apart - the time it would've taken me to even try to fix this product, would not been worth my time. It is a Chinese import by the look of the cheap parts used, hence why

I ended up buying 2 of these as the first one I bought was medium size and was on the very limit to fit round my dog's neck (chocolate labrador) so then bought the large version also.I bought it because we walk him down an un-lit track and at this time of year when I get home from work it's already pitch black so whilst I take a torch, this makes it easier to spot the little fecker of he decides to wander off-piste so to speak. Except that you can only really see it if you are stood side-on to him. If he's behind me I can only see the glow it makes on the ground as his fur and fat head obscure the collar itself.The quality is decent for the price with a simple squeeze-clip for fastening. The thing that's not so good is the illumination time between charges. I recon it's about 15-20 mins. so I charge it after every walk.

This product takes a long while to get here but wen it does it's amazing ! It has different types on flashes wen u press the button and I love that u charge it to ! I got the pink one and u can see my dog in the pitch dark from ages away just wat we need on dark nights in the country !

Nice collar but the lead loop is on the wrong side so the light is brightest under your dogs chin. Collar also started to come apart after 2nd use (we have a Border). The light then failed to illuminate along the collar length after 2nd use and then battery life dropped to lasting about 20mins depsite a full charge (left it on charge for hours). Added to all this the reseller has ignored any contact regarding our issues so have escalated to Amazon. Disappointing.

Very handy but my only complaint is the connection is a bit dodgy and so it does not always light up and stay on when it should.Because it comes in handy to see my dog in the dark as she is black I shall be having to buy another to replace the one with the dodgy connection.I will be looking around for similar items as a replacement. Pity though as I do really like it. It is because of this reason that I have given a 4* rating and not 5

Cheap and not very well made but it does the job fine and the battery lasts me four hour walks so easy to keep charged as required. I suggest using it just as an extra collar, loose enough to just slip over the head. It does have a steel loop for a lead, but tend to twist the collar. Very pleased with it though since buying mine, the whole village seem to have bought them for their dogs😊

My dog is jet black and hard to see in the dark if at all! This collar was a great choice, it's settings are fast flash, slow flash, on & off. I've a small cocker spaniel puppy and winter in Scotland can be really dark. This collar helps me see where he is at all times. Being a puppy and in training he wants to pull all the time which loosens the collar, I added an elastic band at the loose expand end, which stops it from becoming loose.
