The mechanism on this movement is encased in a white plastic shell that can be removed if you wish. The movement with shell measures 2- 1/8"L x 1- 7/8" W x 1- 1/16"H. When fully wound it plays approximately 2-1/2 minutes. It has 18 notes to provide a nice range of tones. It winds from the bottom and a gold colored 23/32"L winding key is provided.
