Relaxdays Stainless Steel Handrail for in-and Outdoor Use, 80 x 90 cm, with Wall Fittings and Metal Plugs, Silver

Came quicker than advertised. Basic Diagram of assembly, but no drill size mentioned. Started off at wall, marking and drilling with a size 8, then 10, then 12. Thought we’d initially made holes too big as bolts spun in them. Do not drill deeper than the bolt as the expansion end is not attached to the shaft and could drop down cavity.......Got round this by putting the bolts through the wall plate holes, adding the shaft and Expansion end (as in diagram pic) and then offering whole thing up to the wall holes, pushed in with help of rubber mallet and bolts tightened with spanner. Could be done by one person but easier with 2 as squirted water to drilling bricks and block paving and generally holding things, sport level, etc. Tempted to get one for other side to match. Very sturdy once all tightened up with Allen keys supplied. Bought for elderly relatives that found our steps difficult with nothing to grasp... now there’s no getting out of them visitIng.....ooops! Lol 😆 Recommended! Best thing was we did it together and for once didn’t want to kill each other after 5 mins .... Husband hates DIY ! 😍😫

Used as handrail at our back door. It is sturdy and relatively easy to fit, but I had to use different fixings to the ones supplied due to where it was being fixed. Delighted with it so far

Stops the old folks from falling off the edge of the step, very easy to install, comes with all the fixings required. Looks good and feels very sturdy
