I found these spoons to be well made and very nicely finished without any scratches roughness or defects. Some competing products had review indicating rough or sharp edges. I enlarged their pictures and sure enough, I could see the defects. These are on the upper end of the oriental soup spoon market, but edges and polish of the spoons I received are perfect. You get what you pay for. I’m very pleased. As a side note, was in. Williamsburg VA, and one of the restaurants served their chili and soups with a similar spoon but with longer handle. I liked the feel of their spoons so much I bought these. Sure wish I could find them with a longer handle. But these do “eat” very well.

I bought these for my dad. He has severely arthritic hands and benign tremors. Eating can be a problem. He doesn't like the medical grade weighted spoons so I decided to give these a try. They are perfect soup spoons and have a nice weight to them and are comfortable to hold. They've been a great help. I know that's not their intended purpose but whatever works.

A quality made Asian soup spoon. Excellent finish and shape. Made from 304 stainless steel and they have a highly polished mirror like finish..HOWEVER - the spoon is heavier than my porcelain Asian soup spoon. At my age, the extra weight of the spoon will certainly take some getting used to. I worry that should I drop this spoon onto a chinaware soup bowl, it could chip the bowl..Anyway, it is a high quality Asian soup spoon that will probably last forever.... just don't gift the spoons to older folks.

Well made and not heavy, but it doesn't have the depth of a traditional oriental spoon. It holds about the same volume as a typical western soup spoon
