Excellent oatcakes
As others have said, these are a little dry, but they have a very nice flavour, and they are very healthy. Other brands of oatcakes can contain sugar and more fat, these contain no added sugar. The organic oatcakes can be eaten on their own, but they are excellent with a thin slice of cheese, or spread with a little hummus. I prefer Nairns Cheese Oatcakes for eating on their own, but because they contain cheese they do have more fat and less fiber than the organic variety.

Good but old
I think if I had received fresh crackers this rating would have been a five. Purchased off the discount deal last month and the Sell By date was June 2012. Got a case of 6 and got rid of 3 due to opening the first box and the oil was going rancid. I was really disappointed because the cracker was, even with the off taste, one of the best I have had Gluten Free. So now I open the package and leave it open two days and then the taste is not bad with cheese or some topping. So I am going to try some fresh ones when I have some extra cash or can buy them at the local Whole Foods to see if they are better.

Rancid
Sadly, the first package of crackers that I opened (from the first box of Nairn's Organic Oatcakes out of the pack of 6 that I ordered) smelled rancid. I happened to have another package in my cupboard from a box bought at the grocery store for comparison and there was definitely a distinct rancid smell from the Nairn's crackers ordered online. The box was sealed and the package was sealed and the expiration date isn't until March 2014, so I suspect either these crackers were stored somewhere where they got too hot or the oil used to make them was rancid to begin with. Either way, it's a total bummer because they can't be returned. Expensive lesson!

Terribly dry
Maybe I''m not putting the right thing on these crackers, but I think a good cracker should be good on it's own as well. These are terribly dry in the mouth, the flavor is OK.

One of my favorites.
I received a box of these Oat Crackers in a gift box a while ago. I really love them and decided to spurge and stock up. Also, I am from Scotland and love getting goods from there. All arrived safe and am now enjoying the.

These are Not crackers.
I did not like the flavor of these. They do not taste like crackers and they are very bland. They have a cake consistency. They clearly say “contains gluten” but I did not notice until after I ate them. I am allergic to gluten:( I gave a whole case away to family.
