If better bearings exist, I haven't found them. I've been skating for 49 years, and assembling my own skates from the best parts I could find and/or afford for 45 of those years. I am now 54 and skate 2-3 indoor sessions every week. I go through 3 sets of wheels every year (yes, I only skate indoors). I've been using bones bearings for 25 years. My first Bones Swiss (steel, not ceramic) set lasted me about a year and a half with cleaning and relubing everytime I changed wheels. Then about 7 years ago I finally got my first set of Bones Swiss Ceramics. The out of the box experience isn't signifigantly different than regular Bones Swiss, but they last so much longer. That first set of ceramics easily lasted me 5 years. Then I decided to give the regular Bones Swiss and few other "also rans" a chance again. However, I am very happily back with the best, Bones Swiss Ceramics.

Chose these bearings to try out ceramics. I have a set of Bones Swiss which are awesome, but these are alot faster . Took about a hour to break in but these are now flying. Try cleaning them with Isopropyl and running them dry. Speed coach of mine was saying the ceramic balls don't overheat like steel so running them dry is fine, plus they absolutely fly with no oil/lubricant! Would reccommend to anyone!

Good a soft feel when rolling

These are by far the smoothest bearings I've ever used. They are very fast and seem to roll on forever with a single push. Compaired to a lot of the ceramic bearings out there, these are reasonably priced and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend them.

Good bearings. Don't buy cheap imitations. These bearings are smooth. They spin freely. One less thing to worry about in the fine tuning of your skates.
