Bookmarks in Plastic Canvas (Leisure Arts #5161) Paperback – October 1, 2009

This has good patterns, or so says my mother, for whom the "book" was a gift. It's not so much a book as a couple of sheets of designs. If you already know what you're doing (Mom does), this should work for you. If you are new to the craft, you'll want something more instructional.

I am building up a collection of both plastic canvas and bookmark patterns and this fits in.Now I just have to find the time to 'create'.

Good patterns and they're clear directions. My tween is able to follow the patterns easily and make cute bookmarks for everyone in the family.

The bookmark is great to make, several different patterns and very easy to make. I love it very much and simple to make.

Bookmarks in Plastic Canvas is not a book, rather it is a fold-out chart (it is basically an A3 sized sheet of thin card folded in half). It contains charts for eight plastic canvas bookmarks as well as a page of instructions. The colour charts are very clear and easy to follow. If you are a beginner making these bookmarks would be a good place to start. I did not end up making many myself because I did find the designs to be rather old-fashioned and twee. I did change a lot of the colours used as I found there were far too many insipid pastel colours used in the booklet.

I AM A BEGINNER AT PLASTIC CANVAS SO DON;T KNOW ENOUGH AS YET. I LOOK FORWARD TO BECOMING GOOD ENOUGH TO MAKE THESE LOVELY IN TIME.I THINK THEY ARE GORGEOUS.

Purchased for my elderly mother but suitable for all ages. She loves doing crafts as they keeps her hands and mind active. Some great new ideas for her to try out.

The charts are very clear and look easy to do, so ideal for my craft classes. I was dissapointed that this isn't really a book but just a pattern,
