Fulfills a need that can be difficult to accomodate
My tiny pom has early kidney disease and it was hard to find kidney-friendly treats that were small enough. I was skeptical that she would go for them, bc she's pretty finicky, but she likes them and they are small enough for her to enjoy. When pups are that small, every little bit of the diet can make an impact, so it's nice to know she has an alternative. They are very hard, like little pellets, so when she seems to struggle, I just soak them for a bit and it makes it easier.

Apparently Not Palatable!
I ordered this product because our older dog is in the early stages of kidney failure, and I needed to find a low-protein treat for him. Neither he nor our other dog would eat these. Since the label says the only ingredient is sweet potato, I offered some to my horse. He too refused to eat it.Some dogs might like these treats; unfortunately, mine don't.

Great for Kidney Diets!
Our puppy was in late stage kidney-failure when I gladly found these! With a kidney diet, we needed to be very careful with ingredients and these were perfect. We used them as training treats and he loved them. Any time he heard us open a bag he’d come running. They seemed to be pretty hard so they might not be best for teething puppies.

Raw Paws USA Natural Sweet Potato Dog Treats - great product, but pricey
Bought Raw Paws USA Natural Sweet Potato Dog Treats for our 17 year old dog who has kidney disease. She likes the product and the product is a high quality product....only natural ingredients...but the price per once is probably twice or more than it seems it should be. We may buy more at some point in the future, but the steep price will limit how much and often we purchase it.

My dogs did NOT like these
My dogs do like pumpkin and sweet potato and my oldest dog has kidney disease so I was looking for a low protein treat. I also liked the small size of this product because my old girl is ALWAYS hungry and begging for treats. Unfortunately, after begrudgingly eating these for a day or two, she turned her nose up them. The two hoover-hounds who are her younger "brothers" won't have anything to do with them either. I like the concept and what was delivered was exactly what was advertised but my dogs won't eat them.

Great for my picky eater!
My 13 year old dog is treat driven and has kidney disease. It’s tough to find goodies she likes that don’t mess with her carefully managed diet. Perfect aroma, crunch and flavor for her made with quality ingredients that give this dog mom peace of mind. So glad I found a recommendation for this product! We’ve ordered three times in three months.

Got sick
My dog has a lot of allergies, so I was excited for these treats. He became really sick and was vomiting. Very disappointed.Update: The customer service is stellar. They contacted me as I mentioned in the review that my dog had gotten sick. I was offered solutions. The company wants the best for our pets and has pride in their products. I rated it a 4 instead of 1 b/c customer service is excellent. This treat was not the right treat for my dog although it may be good for another dog.

Pups love them
My carnivorous pup who hates all non meat products… but since she has been diagnosed with kidney issues can’t have her normal treats. But she loves these

Hard AF
A bit too dried out/ crunchy for me. Will not repurchase but glad we tried them because our pup had a wonky stomach for a bit and I felt comfortable knowing these wouldn't cause an issue. I was a bit concerned hearing him crunching that he'd chip a tooth! Would not recommend for older dogs or puppies.
