The Fabulous World of Cher Dolls, Vol.1 Paperback – July 2, 2013

Tamara Lorenz Hampton has done alot of detailed displays centering on her sewing of miniatures of Cher's famous costumes. Cher fans and fashion fans will enjoy this as it's practically a wardrobe anthology of her most famous dresses. It also features photos of Cher during her illustrious career wearing those same fashions, many designed by Bob Mackie, that Ms. Hampton displays on authentic Cher dolls. The author has put alot of time and effort into this and it shows with all the precise and minute details, not only in the elaborate gowns but also accessories in the room and scene settings.

I am not sure where to start! I grew up watching the Sony and Cher show and adore Cher..So needless to say when I read this book from cover to cover (finally), I was immediately transported back to Circa 1970's.. This book is the complete authority on Cher, her clothing, her dolls and really could be at the Library of Congress as an authority on Cher and her history. You will be thrilled with your purchase and truly lucky to own a copy!! My guess is it won't be around forever as nothing is and if you don't buy it you will absolutely KICK yourself for not buying it...Thank you so much Ms. Lorenz Hampton for all your time and energy put so well into this fun, historical and delightful book..Cher is alive and well and you will feel like you know her on a personal level and as a good friend after you buy this-wow...J.
