I bought two of these and plan to plant two different varieties of clematis vines on each. The trellis is metal and very substantial. It is 9 feet high and 30 inches wide, so I had to screw them to the brick-sided wall to keep them in place and sink them at least 12 inches into the ground so they would clear the overhang, and it all worked out just fine. I get many compliments from my neighbors. The clematis vines will eventually cover the trellis and hide its beauty. Until then, I'll admire the design as though it is a beautiful garden ornament. If you want a tall, wide, heavy trellis, this is a great investment. The price was amazingly low for its size and quality. Strongly recommend.

Finding a sturdy trellis high enough to support clematis is not an easy task. Most other trellis are not this tall and have intricate scroll work that require time to train the vines around the designs. This one is 108" high, very sturdy with a simple design. Perfect for clematis. It was very easy to assemble and install. One tiny problem - when the trellis arrived there were only four bolts and four nuts when the directions showed there should be six. The four were taped up in a plastic bag along with a small Allen wrench. Luckily I checked the box it came in before putting it out for the trash. The other two bolts and nuts were in the bottom of the box under the box flaps. I had to rip the box apart to get them out.

I ordered 2 of these at the same time and for some reason they arrived on different days. The first one that I received was perfect! All of the assembly pieces were wrapped up together, and the metal pieces fit together perfectly. In the second package the assembly pieces were not packaged together and had just been thrown into the box. I was missing 2 screws and 2 bolts. I'm assuming they just fell out of the box in transit since there was a small gap in the corner of the box. Assembly was very easy, I was able to put together the one that was missing pieces just fine, I just left out the middle screws so it's not quite as sturdy but hasn't given me any issues. Love the way these look and they were a great deal :) can't wait to watch our roses grow!

I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt compelled to recommend this product. First, it's a nice weight metal material - not at all flimsy, but not too heavy or difficult to handle. Second, it was easy to put together and came with all necessary tools as well as brackets to install on a wall. Third, it is much bigger than most other garden trellises I've seen (it easily reaches the room of my porch) and especially for the price! I was worried what I would get would be thin/ flimsy/ bendable because it was under $70, but what I got was a sturdy perfectly-sized trellis that feels like it will last a long time. I recommend it!

Every box was missing some hardware because the hardware was just loosely wrapped and thrown in the box. All those packages opened, spilled, and pieces were lost in holes in the boxes.Also you will have to buy hardware to use the brackets.

Very sturdy trellis. Had to send one of a pair ordered back for replacement, as it had 2 bottom sections and no top section. Replacement was sent by Amazon before the defective one had even been shipped back. Very strong when assembled.

This trellis is beautiful. It looks so nice with my climbing flowers working their way up. It is tall enough to support the vines and sturdy enough to withstand the Summer thunder storms and wind. I Love It!
