I used this bandage for a paw on one of my dogs. She had stepped on something that caused her pad to swell and she limped. After putting this bandage on her foot, it added enough padding to the wound to allow her to walk on it until it properly healed. Love the fact the bandage would wrap around the top of the foot to stay on. She was an old dog and I have since lost her but she didn't try to bite it off. I highly recommend this pad.

Yes! I said my goat. This past winter, we rescued a baby goat who his mother had wandered off in the woods to give birth. When the baby was found, his ears and tail and back legs were frost bitten. He survived and is doing well, however, his back legs fell off below the knee. I know this sounds horrible, but it is more common than you would think for those of us that raise goats. He has stumps instead of hoofs, And they would bleed constantly while healing. The vet suggested booties, but they were difficult to use and had to be washed or thrown away daily. The PawFlex Bandages were the perfect solution for this problem. Although he does not have paws The bandages fit well over his stump. They could be changed daily and he did not seem to mind having them on. He now has his own wheelchair and occasionally we still have to use the bandages. My cat has a tumor on his front foot. He licks it, making it bleed, and then kitty litter makes it terrible. I was bandaging his paw with regular gauze and wrapping tape, which created its own problems, including being bulky and seeming to hurt him more when he walked. The medimitt is so much easier to put on than trying to hold a squirming cat with one arm while bandaging with the other hand, and the velcro fastener is easy to fasten and to adjust. It's not a bulky bandage, but handles his wound seepage well, and seems much more comfortable to walk on. My guy gets it off sometimes before I'm ready to change it, but it's easy to put back on and I've learned to adjust the velcro closure if it appears to have loosened. Results may vary depending on individual pets and their needs, but this product is perfect for my cat. I highly recommend it.

Great product! We bought this product because our dog kept licking his paws and this let us put medicine on it while it healed. We ordered the wrong size and wanted to exchange it. The company told us we didn't have to return it and gave us the correct size.

I needed to prevent my four-year old lab mix from licking his back paw, but didn't want to use the e-collar all the time. These disposable paper booties have worked out well. When unsupervised, I use them with the e-collar, but when we're home the boot by itself i's fine. They have a velcro wrap at the top that holds well, and the booty itself is fairly sturdy, though will need to be changed more often if your dog runs around a lot outside. I like that it is breathable and easy to take on and off. However, they come inside out with an extra padding flap that is a little awkward to use, so we just cut it off first.

Our girl stepped on a bee or something that caused soreness and swelling that turned into a blood blister in the soft spot between her toes near her pads. We were able to drain it to give her relief. Afterward we needed something to keep it clean and lick free. This worked great! Nothing we did before we bought this product would stay on her foot. She weighs 28 pounds (terrier mix) and we bought size small. It fit perfect. And she was not able to rip it off, although she tried once or twice. I added a doggy sock with non-slip bottom when she needed to go outside. This product helped heal her foot faster by keeping the ointment in place and keeping the wound clean. Highly recommend.

Very convenient for those critters who don't want you messing with their ouchie. I got the large and it was just a little bit too small for my husky's paw. Should have gotten the extra large, but I made it work by ripping the side a little bit. Also, they come with a flap that is material like the pad of a bandaid. I can see the purpose for it, but I didn't need it, so I just tore it off. Will buy again.

These work great (make sure you read to turn them inside out!). Our dog injured his paw and I like this a lot better to keep him from licking the medicine that keeping him "coned" up. Easy to put on and stays put pretty well. Can be washed at least once for reuse too. Use the measuring guide they provide for the size - my 14lb Maltese uses the Small and it is perfect.
