Despite being advertised as suitable for my new Kindle Fire HD 8 when I initially inserted it I was told that it was incompatible with the tablet and I would have erase or format it. When I initially tried to do this I then got a message that I could not use it without updating the tablets software. Once I had done this I got the incompatible message again but fortunately after formatting it worked. So eventually I could use it and it is fit for purpose. However I ask the questions - 1) why was the tablet sold as being suitable for an SD card when I had to do updates to make this so and 2) why is the SD card sold as suitable when it needed to be formatted. If this is standard for this sort of memory device it should be made clear on the packet. someone who is not tech savvy may well have been put off by all of this.

Bought this product specifically for my daughters Amazon fire tablet and it worked for the first few weeks but now it says it’s incompatible and I can’t return because the return window has closed! What a waste of money and now I am out of pocket even though they sell it for the Amazon Fire!!! Complete rip off!! I will be contacting the seller

I’ve given this zero stars as it’s absolutely scandalous, and sometimes typical, of amazon to be a vendor for cheaply made materials or products that are mis-sold. This is incompatible, despite the ad stating it’s for a kids tablet. Money back please. PS. Was forced to select 1 star

Does what it says on the tin! My new Amazon Fire has a bigger memory than me now. Excellent for downloading stuff onto for amusement on a week or so away.
