Yes, it keeps hair and ears perfectly dry !! I've been using this (for swimming but haven't tried diving in it) since March and have had no problems. Other reviews indicated it ripped easily, but mine hasn't. Also, it fits with room to spare and good stretchability (admittedly I have a smallish head and short hair) so should fit almost any size head..One year later: cap is still working as before. Daily use and kept outside in all temps !1

It's a good cap and it does stretch over very long hair. I was skeptical about the waterproof part that everyone was raving about. I swam 3 times with it now and my hair is still soaking wet underneath. I think if you just get in the pool and splash around for a bit then it would be fine but actually swimming laps and doing flip turns water gets in. I still like it and will use it but don't be fooled by "waterproof".

Doesn't keep my hair completely dry as a little seeps inside from the bottom if I don't pull it down enough. It helps keep the water out of my ears and keeps my hair out of my face and my hair is dry enough so that it isn't full of chlorine. I'm happy with it.

I bought this swim cap because it was promoted to keep hair dry. The reviews I read were mainly good and I have been looking for a cap that will keep my hair dry. I do aqua aerobics and have been using this cap for the past couple weeks (N.B. I did not swim in the cap). The cap looks good on my head and gives the appearance of full coverage that will keep one's hair dry. UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES NOT, MY HAIR STILL GETS WET!! :( This is very very disappointing. I am giving the cap two stars only, just for the 'appearance' but it has functionally failed at keeping my hair dry. I was asked by a few people where I got my cap, while I told them 'I bought it on Amazon', I also told them 'It doesn't keep your hair dry!'

I feel very annoyed. The rubber was severely perished to the point of a noticeable hole and yet there was a sticker proudly saying that amazon.com had inspected it. In other words, I had to send it straight back. Smelled bad and was very dirty too. Need better quality control, Amazon.

Today we had a 'try-on' session with the Kula swim cap and another cap made by i-swim. My 2 nieces had a ball trying on both caps. I bought the other cap because it said that it would be a good fit for young adults. Side by side both caps are uniquely suited for young girls. The KULA cap was an immediate hit because it is super flexible and fit very snugly on the younger girl. I had intended this cap for her anyway so my prediction was on the mark. The nose clips and ear plugs that came with both caps were a big hit too. We were not in the pool today so I can't say anything about how it will behave in the water. I am sure that it will be just fine. The other cap, by i-swim, may be made out of rubber. It is very strong so a child may need some assistance to get it in place. Both caps appeared to be about the same size but the KULA cap is made of silicone so it is very "stretchy". Side by side, I believe that the Kula cap may be the winner by a slight margin.

while I didn't try putting my head under the water, it kept my hair completely dry while splashing and dog paddling with my toddlers. It squeezed a bit. my son said it looked like my eyebrows would pop off. still for what I bought it for I was satisfied, and will continue to enjoy it, hopefully for many swims to come.

it's great if you just want to keep your hair out of the way. horrible, if you want to keep your hair dry. I wanted something to keep my hair dry. I still can't find one to keep my dry
