Wonderful childhood memories
When I was a child, my grandmother in Holland would send this to us in a large box of goodies. I was so delighted to find it here in America. Ummm. Get good bread (good homemade is best), butter it, then spread this powder over it and work the butter and powder together. Ah yes.

Definitely not what I expected them to be.
I thought I ordered the same Anise sprinkles as the last time I ordered. These were more like anise flavored sugar crystals. The flavor is very lackluster and I much prefer the others. I wish the descriptions explaining the difference between them had been more clearly stated. I will make sure to order the blue and white anise sprinkles next time.
