Useful product!
I bought this item from another retailer before, and now from Amazon. The product was as described, and is easy to use with Polymer Clay. The inside instructions were easy to follow, but said to set the canvas size on your computer to 4.5 by 5.5 inches. The transfer paper size is 5.5 by 8.5 inches, so make sure to set the canvas size to that instead. The images that I made transferred clearly to the clay.

Quality
For some reason this water slide kept bleeding. I'd print it up, let it sit and dry, spray a sealant, let it dry and then place in water. It would slide off perfectly but while placing the color would bleed. So I tried it again this time without spray with sealant. Placed in water and it still would bled. I'm trying another kind. Sorry

Totally Misrepresented - 2 sheets for $6 ????
The image of the package gives the impression that this is a full size product. It isn't. What you get is two full size sheets CUT IN HALF which gives you four half-size sheets. You can buy 10 full size sheets on Amazon from different manufacturers for far less money than $3 per page. I haven't used the product nor will I even open it. It's going back to Amazon tomorrow. I've never been so disappointed by an Amazon purchase.Update 8/06/10 - In addition to being such a poor value for the price, the text of the description on Amazon includes the following statement: "Each package contains 50 - 60 images." If you scurtinize the rest of the text, it does mention that "we also offer blank kits". Since this is the only kit offered, it's not very fair to expect a customer to know that this is not one that contains images. I'm extremely dismayed to see such carelessly worded product information on this formerly-trusted site.

Fun way to transfer your own photos or special images to projects
I've used the Lisa Pavelka packages of preprinted images before; but I had a couple of projects where I wanted to incorporate my own photos, so I gave these InkJet waterslide transfers a try. I've personally found that they worked well so long as I followed the directions. I also found that it's important to not print out an overly large image (I limited each of mine to 2" x 2" at the largest). While it may differ with other printers, I found it awkward that I needed to think ahead and decide ALL of the images that I wanted to print on each sheet, rather than doing just one or two at a time.At least one reviewer commented about the colors from the image bleeding. I think I know what caused it. I checked out some You Tube videos prior to doing mine; and it said to place the printed side down onto the clay and thoroughly burnish it against the surface before lightly applying water to the back of the paper (white side). The video mentioned that not doing this would result in color bleeding since the ink from the ink-jet printers is water soluble. Because you can only apply these waterslide transfers right-side-up, if your image has any printing, you have to make sure that you print it out as a mirror-image. Then after you gently ease in off the paper and onto your clay and smooth it down, you coat it with liquid clay before curing. As a finishing touch, I like the look of the Magic Glos UV resin added to the surface. If you've never used a product like this, I'd suggest googling it and watching some of the videos available. Not only will that help you with technique; it also may give you some fun ideas for projects using them.I do agree with other reviewers that you don't get much printable transfer material for the money.

The product itself is nice, but....
These water slide transfers are really cool and they work well but if you enlarge the photo of them you'll see that the package is supposed to contain "(4) 5.5in. X 8.5in. " blank sheets. HOWEVER when I received the item the (4) was magically blacked out and there were only 3 sheets inside. I'm not grossly upset with this, but if I'm not going to get what I'm paying for- you could let me know beforehand. The packaging is easily opened and resealed (it's just a plastic bag with that little sticky strip that you can open and close without it looking any different). Again, it's not a HUGE deal, but it's not ok either. The product is good, just make sure you're getting what you think you're getting.

Works perfectly everytime. There is nothing tricky about it ...
Works perfectly everytime. There is nothing tricky about it. In fact, it would be difficult to get it wrong. I use it to transfer to polymer clay for jewelry, so I only need to do small transfers, which will make this package last me through at least 30 projects.

Water slide decal
Easy to use. This craft is new to me. I was disappointed that there were only 4 water slide decal papers in the package. I have made 4 projects using the product and they came out looking very professional. The people who I gave the mugs to asked me where did I have them made and were very surprised when I told them I had made them!
