A great solution for uninhabited spaces This affordable all-in-one roof window solution has been designed to provide ample ventilation and light for unheated attic or garage spaces. The skylight comes with preinstalled flashing and the opening restrictor ensures safe use. Solstro Skylights are produced in a ""side-opening"" position, they can be configured to hang from either side or also as a “top-hung” window. They are equipped with a restrictor which enables you to fix the sash at a 90° position to avoid accidental closing. The simple all-in-one solution keeps installation as simple as possible. The skylight with integrated flashing is packaged in one box. The Skylight is delivered with an integrated foam gasket, which ensures a perfect seal for tile roofs. You can easily remove or trim the foam gasket to fit the skylight perfectly onto slate roofs. This item should not be used as access onto the roof.

Q: The windows have been supplied with hinges fitted to they open to the side. How do I change the hinges etc. so that it it top hung?

The hinge positions are marked out on the model I have got just unscrew and fit in the alternative position

Q: Can this be installed in a terraced roof on a normal house
