While this doorknob is very elegant in its appearance, it has one horribly critical design flaw. The knobs are glued on rather than bolted or screwed onto the housing assembly. This means that with repeated turns, the knob will fall off due to the stress and torque. I saw this same issue come up in other reviews. I’m not sure what knuckle head thought this was a great idea. This doorknob should be half the price that it is because of this issue. That being said, if you really want to keep this doorknob like my wife and I did (we really couldn’t find any other like it that match our recent bathroom remodel), have some heavy- duty adhesive at the ready to repair it. I used JB Weld cold weld steel reinforced epoxy because I didn’t want to have to fix this again. Again, if you’re okay with having to fix this, it’s a very attractive doorknob. Otherwise, you may want to pass on purchasing this.

It was kind of hilarious- we bought 2 and within hours one glass doorknob fell to the ground spontaneously and one came off in my husbands hand. In both cases, the glass came unglued from the metal portion. It was not an installation error. We purchased some Loctite epoxy and fixed them and they seem fine but we are still waiting for the other knobs to drop. That said, they looked great after we glued them back together. Only purchase if you have a sense of humor that extends to home projects!UPDATE: A third doorknob has dropped off! Shame on this manufacturer! Seriously- this is no anomaly! DO NOT BUY!

I really dislike the fact that I received a door knob that was missing a crucial part that is integrated into the knob that allows the knob to rotate a spindle which operates the latching mechanism. This square piece held in place by a metal snap ring was missing on the interior side knob. Without this square piece the spindle will not rotate when the knob is turned. I assembled the unit according to the instructions and ended up locking myself in the room because the door wouldn't open. I didn't have my phone and I was the only person in the house. Only by carefully examining both external and internal knobs was I able to determine what the problem was. I have attached a picture so you could better see what I'm talking about. I sent the product back with an attached note inside the packaging. Hopefully, no one else with end up with this defective product. Then, I went and reordered the exact same knobs the same day. The replacement knobs were missing the exact same square metal insert as the ones I sent back.

I started out buying 1 doorknob to see if I would be able to install it myself. Yep! Took me about 15 minutes to install and it's exactly what I was looking for. I just ordered 5 more :)

Anyone who’s ever replaced a door knob knows the biggest hassle is tightening the screws on the back plate because the knob on the back of the door is in the way to easily tighten the screws. Who ever designed this set actually has assembled them! The knob on the back is held in place by a set screw. You remove the back knob to get the rest of the set installed and then reinstall the knob you removed. It was sooooo simple! It looks so much more expensive than it is but the best part is the easy install!!

Beautiful quality, easy to install. I got the model that allows you to lock it. Screws and lock are unobtrusive. The knob is high quality and soooo much better than what I had in my hand at the big box DIY store. Easy to grab knob stands off from the door so be sure to measure so that you won't end up with the knob knocking into your wall.

Beautiful knob set. But what arrived had one of the crystal knobs cracked, and the knobs were smudged up and one was not anchored in the package properly. It appeared to be a return or repackaged set, and no effort to polish it and clean it were made, and obviously no inspection was done. The package did not have any damage, except for one place in the hard plastic blister case that looked like a corner of the knob had been pressed against it. Returning the item for refund. I think I will shop for something else.

Came very fast and was more beautiful in person than online. It is large, has a heavy weight to it, and the metal plate is good quality, and looks nice in combination with other fixtures. It adds a finishing touch of elegance, for a very affordable price. I will be purchasing more. I easily installed on an existing bathroom door to replace an old brass knob. Installation was uneventful and took less than 5 minutes.

Not even used for a year and as you can see the knob is broken.
