These earrings are very precisely carved of bone. The owl is the protector of children in many cultures and the carving portrays an owl wrapping it’s wings around a baby owl. The owls are as described: approximately an inch and a half tall. I have considered slipping them off of the ear hooks and using them as matching mother daughter pendants. I consider them works of art.

These are beautiful earrings! I love them. They are larger, not tiny at all, but very lightweight. The owls are 2 inches in length. It's easy to see the detail of the carving. I get compliments all the time when wearing them!

These earrings are beautiful, well carved. They come with a little detailed small pamphlet that explains the organization it came from. As they are made of bone there are to be treated with care, to be careful not to beak them. They arent very thick so I assume they can break easily if dropped from low heights. They are approx a inch to inch and half long.
